Comments: It was with very mixed emotions that I read SNL's posting re Don and Barb's grandson. As Ada said, it is impossible for most of us to know how they are at the moment unless we have actually experienced the loss of a child or grandchild. Hopefully they will feel the support that all of their GB friends are offering and the comfort from the prayers that have been offered on their behalf.
Comments: Barbara and Donnie, My heart is breaking for you and your family. I cannot say that I know how you feel because I've never walked in your shoes, but I pray that the Lord gives you the strength to continue this journey. I love you both.
Comments: Donnie and Barbara, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am so sorry that you have had to go through such an ordeal. May God bless and continue to heal your hearts.
Comments: Donnie and Barb, my heart is with you and all your family now, as it has been throughout your terrible ordeal. I am hopeful and prayerful that your hearts can now begin to heal. Love you guys.
Comments: Donnie & Barbara, It is with mixed feelings that I read the news that they have found Brandon. I am so glad that the ordeal of him being missing is over for you and you can finally start to heal, but I am so sorry that I am out of town until after the 2nd and cannot be there for you. Know that my love, thoughts and prayers are with you now. If there is anything I can do for you when I return you need only to ask. Love to you and to your family.
Comments: Sandy, thanks for keeping us posted. Barbara and Donnie, like Ronny said, this news is a mixed blessing. I'm very glad Brandon was finally found. God bless the recovery team. I know they worked long, hard hours to find him. I'll pray for your whole family. Love you both!
Comments: Sandy, this news about finding Brandon's body is a mixed blessing. I am so sad that he lost his life and am sad for all of the Fugate family. I know their grief is deep. But, I am glad that they can now have closure. We need to keep praying for the entire Fugate family. This next year will be difficult for them. However, they are good, strong Christians and I know they will put their pain in the Lord's hands.
Comments: This is good news and at the same time very sad news. They found Brandon's body this afternoon about 3:30pm! 4 wks & one day! The parents had already decided, due to the circumstances, they would cremate his body & have services. But they will have to do an autopsy first. No further info is available at this time as they are all trying to absorb the fact that he is really gone and in the process pf making arrangements. Donnie & Barb send their thanks to all of you for your prayers and wonderful heartfelt cards. Your support is appreciated! Now . . . may God let the healing begin for our friends & their family as they have been through so much! We love you Donnie & Barb!!
Comments: Ada, thanks, now I have a shoulder to cry on! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, the best ever, so that helps make up for the Christmas. Sounds like you did too! All I ask from Santa this year was a stocking full of Lexapro, but I didn't get any.
Comments: Sandy Mc, I understand how you feel. Judea and Joe didn't come home for Chirstmas, since they were here for Thanksgiving. Jessica and John went to Canada to visit her family. I was so glad when the day was over.
Comments: A late Merry Christmas to all, and a belated Happy Birthday to Barbara Arnold. Southworth, thanks for the post on my brother. I don't know Paul (I assume he's related to Martha), but his info is pretty accurate. And Happy New Year to all you folks.
Comments: Happy Belated Birthday, Barbara. Hope to see you at the next mini or the girls night out. It just hasn't felt like Christmas this year. For the first time ever my kids were not together. Ashley (Ca.) was quite home sick as we were for her too. Lots of tears and texting. Next year she's getting a plane ticket for sure. Working on storing my Christmas decorations and cleaning closets at the same time. Better get back to it. Sounds exciting doesn't it?
Comments: Don, what model of Lady Smith did Kathy get for Christmas?? My wife has a model 36 38 Special..loves the gun.. I actually used it to qualify for my conceal/carry..
Comments: Happy Birthday Barbara!!! Careful John, people MIGHT think you are beginning to come around......
Comments: Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like a fresh box of ammo and the crisp smell of gunpowder in the air. |
