Sam and Sarah, precious Christmas photo of the grandones. Annette, great family portrait and your beaming face confirms your swelling pride in your family. May all of us and our families be richly blessed in the coming year. We have great hope and we especially have each other.

I know Brandon's remembrance service this Saturday will be a fitting tribute to a fine young man. I pray for peace and healing to truly begin now.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

LOVE YOU ALL

Here is the information Donnie sent me regarding he & Barbara's grandson, Brandon.  As you can imagine, their Christmas and New Year has been filled with great sorrow.  Now they will lay their grandson to rest this Saturday.  Please continue to pray for God to lift their spirits and give them & their entire family peace.

I am also proud to be a graduate of the Class of 1966.  We have all shown that tremendous pride in our classmates when we are needed to step forward.

There has been a lot of sadness this past year and I also hope that 2009 brings healing to many families in our group and that we can all be there for each other.  Thanks for everything you have done for me.  See you next year.

 Happy New Year

2008 has turned into a bitter sweet year. We have had some great things happen to us...and we have endured tragedy and loss of more classmates.

The support that each of us provide to each other is what makes this class unique and so wonderful to be a part of...I'm thankful for a lot of things...but most thankful that I have a wonderful family and friends like each of you...even if we don't always agree.

My highlight for the Class of 1966 in 2008 happened near the end of this year... and is one that typifies this class. My highlight is when men from our class stepped forward and carried out one of our classmates last wishes before he left us for his peaceful repose with God...that act of friendship and out right selfless respect to Don Gaines who asked that his Pall Bearers be from this class shows how much this class cares about each other. Having said that I am honored to be a member of this class and to have so many friends who show this kind of close knit care towards each other.

With that, I wish all of you nothing but the best for 2009...and may all your wishes, hopes, dreams and aspirations abound in the coming year.

Happy New Year to all !

God Bless

I am sorry I can't be at Gordy's - I always love his parties.  Anyone going raise a glass for me and give him a kiss at midnight for me.

Gosh, has everyone started celebrating early??  Where are you guys??  I hate it when I'm the only one posting for the entire day.  You should seriously think about meeting us for brunch on Jan 1 at Uncle Julio's.  It starts the New Year off right . . . being with friends!!

Good morning!  After all the high wind, a little snow & some ice. . .   it appears Dec will go out peacefully.  It's calm & beautiful yesterday & this morning & the sun is just coming up above the rooftops.  Any one have any big plans for NYE???  Where has this yr gone??  It has been a really rough yr for our class of '66 and other SOCites too.  Let's all pray the new year will be kinder and better for all of us.  Even though the pgs of the site say it, here's my personal wish to all of you - - May God Bless each of you and grant you good health throughout the coming year!!

Today is our dtr's b-day, I'll give her a call in a few minutes.

Happy New Year!!!!!!

There are no words that can take away the hurt and sorrow my friends, Donnie & Barbara, are feeling.  But they are a strong family & they are all there, pulling together during this sad and heart wrenching time.

We don't say much about it here as there is nothing left to say.  But never forget, the class of '66 is also strong and you are in our thoughts every day and our prayers every night!!  I have prayed for Brandon to be found . . . now I am praying for God to help you heal.  If you need me, I'm here!!  Love you both!!
