My office was turned into a spare bedroom again for some of our kids over the holidays & was unable to use my own PC, but used Kathy's a coupla times – sorry for the delay.
Comments: Happy New Year, y'all. Hope you brought in the new year with gusto. Me? Well, Connie and I went to see The Day the Earth Stood Still. Interesting. Not much like the previous version. This new version follows the original short story more closely. A little sparkling wine before bed was nice. Put me right to sleep. Hmmmmmm! This year has GOT to be better than 2008.
Comments: Happy New Years to all of my SOC friends. We will be leaving here tomorrow and heading for home. We have had a great time - spent the night in San Marcos and went to San Antonio to the Riverwalk for our anniversary and then here for New Years. Actually stayed up until midnight - surprise. See ya'll soon.
Comments: Annette the Lionette: I love the family picture. Everyone looks so nice. But, wouldn't it have been better if everyone was holding a chicken? Or perhaps you should have asked SNL to fix the webpage so that when that picture comes up, the sounds of chickens clucking could be heard!!!! Comments: Happy New Year to everyone. I hope we all enjoy good health, and continued friendships this year. In 6 weeks my son and his wife will be adding a shortstop to my daughter's pitcher and catcher. Looks like Coach McGee can get out the coaching uniform and fungo bat. ( Bay Watch Capps, I know the shorts won't fit....)
Comments: Dear Old Friends-- Hold your loved ones so close....we never know how long we'll have them or they'll have us. My heart's so heavy with sorrow for Donnie and Barb.....they had a wonderful grandson who's now in the loving arms of the Lord. Thanks to everyone for your love and your good wishes. I pray your 2009 will be filled with laughter, family blessings, love, and all the good things that really matter in your life.
