Comments: John - so far, in the space of about three different postings you have called one movie by several different names so I seriously doubt that you will ever get to actually order the movie
Comments: No JS, it's not out on DVD yet, but I did see "Momma Mia" on the list! Last wkend I found "Grease" on one of the channels and laid in bed to watch last 45 min of it. Don, who usually can't stay awake past 10:30 perked up and stayed awake to watch it with me. But I know the real reason - - he was waiting for the end where Olivia Newton-John comes prancing out in that black skin tight outfit!!! I could have swore I heard him purr . . . or maybe it was the cat?
Comments: Sandy Lynn, let me know if Gran Tortilla is on the Netflix list. That way, if it turns out to be another "chic flic" I can do my sobbing and crying in the privacy of my own living room.
Comments: Hi Donna, nice to hear from you again. Lordy girl, you are a saint for taking on the job of raising 3 small children! Not easy for any one, much less someone our age. After the 3 days I've had . . . my hat is off to you!!!! I sent you a pvt email Donna. JS - - We're Netflix users and we love it. They have all the latest movies and all I gotta do is log on and shop the vault in my PJs. I set up a list and they arrive in my mailbox and I stick them back out there in the prepaid envelope and they go back to Netflix. The very next day I get a confirmation em saying it was recvd and by the afternoon I get another em saying the next was is on its way! No late fees and no dumb 17-year-old, talking on his cell pho while trying to check you out, to deal with. Slick operation.
Comments: Hi Donna. It's good to see you posting on the guestbook. So you are in Ohio now and apparently raising three very young ones. That's quite an undertaking but it will also bring you great joy as well. Did you say greatgrandchildren? Wow, that's 4 generations. Anyone else have greatgrandchildren?
Comments: You guys are lucky. I am adopting three of my great grandkids ages 3 (yesterday) 4 and 5. You should try it 24/7. It never stops and I wouldn't change it for anything. They are the joy of my life. Hope everyone has a great MLK day. Take care.

Comments: RW -- Aren't you a good "fix-it" guy for your Avon lady. I'm getting a new toillet installed in my house tomorrow, but another plumber is doing it. Been by the cherry pit lately?
Comments: Linda P, I saw your AVON lady this weekend I installed a new faucet in her kitchen sink. She was PLUMB happy with it.

Comments: Last night stumbled across an episode of "Rawhide" from 1960 on TV. Didn't even know they ran that anymore. Anyway, there was Rowdy Yates/Clint Eastwood. He looked like a baby! If I didn't already know it was him, I wouldn't have known it was him.
Comments: That should be metaphor. I never claimed to be a great typist.

Comments: Glad to hear that SNL and Toni survived the grandones visits.  JS, I saw Gran Torino on New Years Eve and thought it was very good. The classic Gran Torino that Eastwood's character owns is kind of a metophor for the throwback to past that he has become. Very rough language, very good acting and, without giving it away, has a very "noble" ending.
Comments: Well, we survived Toni . . . but it was iffy by late yesterday afternoon!!   The triplets and their mom arrived at 3:00pm Fri and she was gone all day Sat & Sun at the Market down at Market Hall. They decided to stay over Sun and just left about 10 min ago. Loooonnng weekend!!  Believe when I say, having three 4-year-olds on the loose all weekend is a handful and then some!! I don't think I've ever said the words "No" and "Stop" so many times in my life!  I love the little rascals, but right now I'm loving the silence! Ya'll have a great week as we're expecting lots of sunshine! |
