Comments: When looking at the football players in the photo on the MISC pg, you'll probably notice we're missing 4 significant people from our class. Harvey Bass, Richard Keathley, Larry Reid & Jim Stoehr! They left us too soon, may they rest in peace! And yes, Smokey is missing, but he's still alive & well. He's busy helping to run the government & couldn't make it.  Apparently Roe Burrow & Gary Steel couldn't make it either. It's a great picture of our 66 & 67 players & they had a fantastic time Saturday watching all the games!!! Rod, those two Grandones of yours are so photogenic!!! I know you're proud of them!

Robert - Sorry to hear that your mother isn't doing well, but as Donna mentioned, glad that she's still with you. I've thought of a thousand things to ask my folks, particularly about our genealogy, since they passed.

Comments: Wow, must have been a full moon last night!! 4 classmates who rarely ever post here have posted today! Lamar Ford, Virginia Macon, Robert McMillan & Donna Rexroat! glad to have you dropping in!! We have some new Grandones posted! Ck out the Pride & Joy pg. Also have a once-in-a-lifetime photo on the Misc pg! Our 16MM film project is about to wrap-up. On Sat a grp of ex football guys frm '66 & '67 got together to few the film that had been converted to DVDs. They were able to order copies of their football days! What a great opportunity! My heartfelt Thanks to Buddy Capps and Sandy McGee for being instrumental in making this all happen! It was a true consorted effort by all involved. I love you both! And yes Buddy, you'll have to come to the party on 6-13 to collect!!

Comments: Hey had a great time today, met up with some great people, looking forward to some golf next week. Buddy I got a hold of Gary and should meet up with him tomorrow to give him his dvd's. like he lives about a couple blocks for me and Ive never known it. thanks to buddy and everybody that got this together today see you.
Comments: Reading about the old neighborhoods make me miss Dallas and the SOC days sooooo much. I actually come to Dallas fairly often to visit my son, but he lives at Lovers/75 so we don't get to Oak Cliff area . Next time I' m going to drive over to look at the old neighborhod. I lived on Summitt Ridge...3 blks from the school.
Comments: I can't thank you enough for your prayers. They were certainly felt. Wednesday morning my son Brian had a raxodomy performed on his back. It's a procedure where they burn the nerve endings next to the spinal column for server back pain. The anesthesiologist administered a medication called Versed, which deadens the central nervous system. If you read about this drug, he had the worse reactions. Continue to pray for Brian. By the way I never stay up that late, had just gotten home from the hospital. I don't have a problem sleeping.  I could take a nap now.I missed your Birthday Rosemary. I hope it was a good one and that you are happy and healthy. I believe the boys are watching a couple of football games about now. Know you guys will have fun. |
