Hi Kathy!  How'd you find New Mexico??

Rick; Thanks!!  Did she show any interest?? Please email me her address so I can follow up with a visit.

JD, Since I don't play the game, can I have your beer money??
Pool Guy keeps saying he will teach me, but Cable Guy said I should learn from someone who knows what they are talking about and can do what they say.

Mr. McGoo, I have already given my putter (Scottie Cameron)(you'll see it in June) to The Botox Kid through my will, my Muzano's you can gladly have...but you both will have to come to WI and carry my casket...or you get nothing. Now having said that...I am on a diet so you can handle the weight...LOL

Donna & Linda...thank you as I appreciate your kind and flattering comments (but my dimples are now just wrinkles and my hair may not be blonde...but it is light in color)...but my goal was to simply explain my theory on how we remain friends over all these years...well except Mr. McGoo...he really can be serious...just not in a crowded room. LOL

I agree...Donna, nice to see you post...do more of it. In fact, I would really like to see everyone that follows this GB to sign on just once so we can see how successful our connection to each other really is. My guess is that we have many more viewers than we know.

Take care everyone.

OH, you caught me, Linda! Toady's should be today's. I have dyslexic fingers. (Not the greatest speller either, but I can spell today's) I try and remember to use the nice spell check feature, but sometimes (you think??) I forget. Send me your email and I will send you info about people who can read mis-spelled words with no problem. I'm not sure I believe it, but it says that about 2% of the public can read the words if all the letters are present, no matter what order they are in.

I'm missing it, Richard, so give me the joke.

Jack -- I still have my view-master, wheels, and it is in the original box w/o a top.  I have bought my grandkids a current view-master in the past, but wouldn't give up mine to them or my kids for that matter.  What's the word "toady's?"  I'm not familiar with it.

JD -- What I remember about you in school was that you had a big smile, bigger dimples (I'm a sucker for dimples), and you had a great loud laugh.  Oh, yeah, you had blonde hair.  I guess some folks would say that you had a "big" personality.

Sandy McGee -- You're just "full of it."  And I won't say what.

Just read the news that they are discontinuing the View-Master. Said sales have been on the decline since the 80's. Testing finds "toady's" kids finding them boring.
I spent a lot of hours going many different places with those wheels and that viewer. And with 3-D pictures!!! It is a shame that kids think if it doesn't move or interact with them it is boring.

Cheezehead of the Frozen Tundra, since you think the Botox Kid Browning and I are your friends, after they say 4 Hail Marys, shoot a 21 gun salute, fold your flag, pass by the family, lie about how special you were, and open the FREE bar. Can Botox have your putter, and I would like your Mizuno irons? Plus any extra NEW golf balls.
Always your friend,
McGoo

I have been communicating with our classmate Mario Fuentes for several years and months since our reunion and made a comment to him regarding our relationship over 40 some years...and the following comment I made to him is true for all of us...even you Mr. BOTOX & McGOO.

" It is interesting but not surprising that we have picked up a relationship over 40 years later. I attribute this to our upbringing by our parents and in my case my grandparents…as well as the geographic and socio-economic conditions we all experienced…never too much but always enough. I don’t believe this friendship we and others in our class feel toward each other would have survived had we lived in Highland Park or North Dallas…or Plano for that matter…but Oak Cliff was down to earth and in some ways a mother in itself. "

Thank all of you for being a friend...

As an FYI regarding our sweet Sue, she doesn't have a home PC and rarely ever looks at the GB.  It would be great if some of you sent her well wishes via a card.  Her address, home # and cell # listed in the Dir are correct.  If you lost your Dir, send me an email & I'll give you her add.
