Comments: Sorry I have not been around lately, I am going to try and catch up with is going on here. On the 20th of March I will be moving into retirement, 62. Still one of the oldest Bears around,  me and Bill Nelson are the same age. I would have been back sooner but the diabetes has finally taken my left eye, optic nerve died, but right eye is hanging in there. I will be praying for what everybody here is praying for. I may not know all the details but The Lord does.,, Amen ?Love ya all Robert and Jolae Norman

Comments: FYI - A little info about the base where our older son, Greg, has been working since Oct. '07. At last, he's finished with his contract & will be leaving there sometime this coming Sun., assuming flight availability & no interference from sandstorms this time. Cross everything & pray hard! Comments: Don and Barb, The Website is wonderful. I'll be budgeting a donation. David worked in search and rescue when he was with the Duncanville Fire Department and I know how appreciated the dive teams are, but little known to do to help them. Most help was from the spouses and fellow dive team members in getting them through each rescue, as each was different in it's own way and brought different trauma and nightmares, etc. to each of the rescue team members. No matter the affect on them, they were focused on their calling and would go right back out there. This is a wonderful memorial. God bless each of you in your personal struggles.

Comments: Donna, Richard: Which one of A. Harris parking lots did you use?? Dad would take me to the "detached" one on Overton Road to practice driving. It was away from the shopping center and no one was ever there. Only thing you had to watch out for was the light poles. Thanks for reviving that memory. Haven't thought about that for years. Dad was a traveling salesman and had his own rights and wrongs for driving. Since we had automatic transmission cars, he believed that it was faster to use your left foot for braking. Back then, doing that during your driver test would get you failed.

You talked about how tirelessly the rescue teams worked to find Brandon. With more money, they'll be better equipped for their work. Please let Michael know how much this opportunity is appreciated. Comments: As most of you know, we lost our grandson last November when he drowned in Lake Ray Hubbard and was not found until 29 days later. Through these trying times we have gone through, our son Mike had wanted to do something that could turn this tragedy into something positive and could give back to the many volunteers that aided in the recovery of Brandon. To that end, we have set up The BMF Project, a non profit organization, to raise funds to give help to these volunteers. We hope to be able to provide needed equipment to these Search and Rescue organizations that will enable them to do what they do better. We hope you will visit our website www.thebmfproject.org. All you folks wih boats should join in on the fun activities sponsered by TexasBoating Magazine.Or come see us at one of the events, even if you don't have a boat. A portion of the money raised is being donated to The BMF Project.
