JS - I'm not very good at identifying people in old photos.  But there was something about his face that struck a cord with me.  I've been racking my brain as to why he is familiar.  Is that Mr. Jolly F. Kellsay?

Many thanks to McGee for providing a most excellent lead-in with his comment about "ex military officer who will keep us out of trouble".

Along that line of thought, can any of you name this Oak Cliff "icon" from his 1943 photograph?

I expect great results from the Class of '66. As far as my own class ('63), only those endowed with gifts of the intellect unknown to all but the longest-running "Tic Tac Dough" or "Jeopardy" champions will get this one right [and, other than myself, they don't EVER post on our Guestbook].

ps - Don Fugate enjoy your special day!

Cable Guy Fugate, Happy Birthday you OLD Fool. Last week Cold Cash Rock Star Dagley drove the green on a par 4 at Woodbridge.
You will be riding with him and the famous Cheezehead at the mini golf outing. Bring lots of beer and a set of ear plugs.
I'm going to press Happy Jack Hawkins to be our course marshall. The ex military officer will keep us out off trouble.

Due to the high wind that hit here yesterday (40-50 mph) we lost electricity at 1:30pm.  Darn TXU didn't get it restored until 10:15pm!!  Needless to say I didn't have a working PC to post the grandone pics last night.  Will do this weekend.

Congrats Bobby!!! Glad the baby is healthy & the mom is doing OK for now.

Robert & Josie - Sounds like a good prognosis & prayers for complete recovery are in the making!!  May God give you continued strength.

Congratulations BLB on the bouncing baby boy grandchild. A great blessing indeed! And that's great news about Robert's wife Jolae too.

I wish Barb and Don could have had better weather for the boating event today. Maybe the rain will skip right over Lake Texhoma. Toni, are you kidding about Shortcake? Does she really teach guitar? Somehow I don't see her having the patience to teach precocious 9- and 10-year old boys to play rock tunes. But it would definitely be fun to watch.

Well now I know why the mini den I received with my 40 year reunion packet had the inscription inside that read " There are big ships and little ships, but the best ships are Friendships...or huge tankers filled with Kendall Jackson!!! Love, Your Reunion Committee (hic)".

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayer and concern for wife and me . below is a statement from Jolae she sent out to her mass mailing list and I thought I would put here for your to read. Josie letter below
Hi to all. I came home from the hospital last night. The uterus was cancerous. Dr. Hoffman was unable to remove my ovary and tube during this procedure. Because of that we are hoping we got it all. I am of course very sore and have some abdominal pain, but I'm glad to be home. I'd like to thank all of you who prayed for me, it gave me confidence in a good outcome. Once again, thank you all. Josie

All scripture is given by inspiration of G*d, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4

Once again thank you. I have known the Lord since 1969and with this trial I learned in my heart and mind that the Good Lord has so many children out there it staggered my mine.  Love in the name of Jesus Christ.  Robert and Jolae Norman
