Comments: Thank you for making me feel so welcome at your mini. What a great turn out you had. I came so my sister, Judy Bass, would attend. She is funny about the fact that our parents moved from Oak Cliff and she did not actually graduate with your class. I think she needs to get over that because she and I both enjoyed it. You may have to give her a certificate like Southworth's to make her official. Speedy Harrison's sister was in our class and I visited with him a little but have more I would have liked to ask him about her life and death. If anyone is in contact with him, please let him know. Thanks again to Gordy for the salsa and chili fixins!
Comments: Bovie....no problem....we thought your remark was very funny! Come to think of it, maybe it is selective hearing cuz Bruce heard all the comments on the salad. Hmmm, I'm gonna work on a cure for that selective hearing syndrome.
Comments: Ms. Shortcake Reynolds Louton XYZ, I'll bet you lunch Bobby had a pair of colorful shorts hanging on a chair Sunday. And you had a gleam in your eye.
Comments: It is not that he can still wear them I think it was that he is still wearing them in public!!!!
Comments: Toni & Bruce JONES, Please accept my apology for the slip up...The salad was very good and much appreciated....Sincerely, Bovie
Comments: So sorry to hear about losing another classmate, Eddie Chesley, and also the mother of our classmate Danny Bob Fugate. Prayers and thoughts are with all of their families. I'm finally getting around to commenting on our great mini reunion on Saturday after a busy work day on Sunday. It was great to see and be with everyone including many we haven't seen in a long time. I wish more could have made it. If you only came to get a free jar of salsa and chili fixings from Gordy Johnson, that alone would be worth it, but it was so much than that. Sorry to have missed JD and Dale and Yvonne since they had to attend to other business that day. Great pasta salad, Bruce. No wait, let me say it a little louder in case he isn't wearing his hearing aids. GREAT PASTA SALAD, BRUCE!!! Again, it was a great gathering. Thanks to Richard and Maryanne for chosing us over Palm Springs. My only regret is that I ran out of time to visit with everyone. Loved having the pizza at the hotel afterward. Very yummy.
Comments: Very sorry to hear about the passing of Eddie Chesley and Danny Fugate's mother. Prayers go out to the families in your time of sorrow.
Comments: In the Star Telegram on Sunday, was a Heart Felt tribute to Victor Noah.I just want to thank Mr Lincoln, Mitchell,Hosford,Mc Lean,JD and others who participted in Victor's Legacy! I know his Mom Appreciated your actions as do and will other SOCITES.Thanks Guy's!
Comments: I don't know what all the hullabaloo is abt McGee's shorts??!!
Comments: I wanted to let you know that an old friend's mom passed away recently. Danny Bob Fugate's mom, Janet Corbet, passed away Thur, 6-11 & her obit was in the paper 6-14. Thank you David Mitchell for letting me know! Please let Danny know he is in my thoughts and prayers. He is another person I went from 1st thru 12th with. http://www.legacy.com/dallasmorningnews/Obituaries.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonID=128395339
Comments: you all are so funny.....but it was Bovie who referred to Bruce as Bruce Rogers when he commented on the salad! Bruce and I got a good laugh out of it! Seriously, "Big Wheel" does own two hearing aides BUT he will not wear them! When everyone talks at once, he can't hear a thing! I think he likes it that way too! Congrats to JS on stepping up as an honorary member of the best class or SOCites! You're in high cotton now!
Comments: 9:45am and I just got a phone call from Dale Smiley. A family obligation led them to Stillwater, OK, leaving he and Yuvonne unable to attend Saturday's party. Everybody is okay, everybody is healthy. I'll let him do the 'splainin' when he gets back to Conroe.
Comments: Southworth, I get that a lot, which I don't understand since I don't have a single grey hair in my head...well, "on" my head. It was a pleasure meeting you & Dru. And what a treat talking with Linda Perkins. Mary Ann & the Litchfords were raving about you, gal. It was good seeing all of you again.
Comments: You made your point McGee!
Comments: Ms. SNLWXYZ, I beg to differ. If someone showed up at the golf course and yelled "Hey Stupid", 17 Socites would think you were talking to them. |
