Comments: I'm proud to say that our new grandson, Luke Garrett Eix, was born today at 4:24 P.M. at Baylor Medical Center in Frisco, TX, weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. and 20 inches long. He's a real cutie and Mike and I are very proud. Will try to post a pic on Pride and Joy soon. Ada Ann, tell little Sophie her future beau is finally here.

Comments: It sure sounds like everyone had a wonderful time at the Mini. I really wish i could have been there and visited with all you wonderful people. Sandy does so much for all of us, aren't we lucky she is our friend. Don Lincoln I am so proud of you. You and the guys that visited with Victor's mom are awesome. I am working very hard to fight this so I can see each and everyone of you next year. Mary Rogers it was so good to see you on here. We had some fun times, huh.
Comments: A few stats & observations from Saturday. Man, what a party!!  *We had 64 people attend. Besides the '66ers, there was John Southworth, Ron Lyons & Judy Bass from '63 along with Denica Duncan from Adamson '63 who stopped by! Buddy Capps, Ken Nelson & Mike Bolton from '67. Tommy Barr from '65. Carol Litchford from '68. *Out of the 64 attendees, 31 stayed for the Pizza Party afterward! *Toni & Bruce surprised us when they brought a H-U-G-E bowl of pasta salad for the pizza party! Yumm Yum!! *Southworth was given a certificate stating he is now an honorary member of the '66 class. . . providing he pays his dues! *We had 1st time attendees Barry Hosford, Speedy Harrison, David & Adair McDermott. Also a few who haven't been in a long time, Larry & Ramona Simons, Dane Thornton, Vernon Moreland & Steve & Diana Gray. *Gordy brought his Salsa with custom labels honoring the event. He also brought his Dynamite Chili Fixin's sticks. He gave everyone who attended a jar and a stick! *I brought everyone who was in last years grp photo an 8x10 copy! I'll post the photo soon & if you weren't in it but want a copy -- mail me a $10 ck & I'll send you one! *I composed all your many (more than 350) Top 10 Memories you sent me into a list of 110. If you want a copy, Em me with subject as: "Top 10" & I'll send you the list. It's in Word. I told you it was quite a party! And Sally, you will be happy to know Jack came thru & made good on the drink he owed you & that you passed on to me! In fact, he even upgraded it & bought me a JW Black!! Thank you Sally & thank you Jack!
Comments: So sorry to hear about Eddie Chesley and Danny's mom passing. Prayers for those. Mr. Lincoln, you are a fine fellow. I'm proud to know you. Mr. Smiley, how dare you two run off without telling anybody. You had us worried. You know how some people always think the worse. JD, sorry you had to go back early. Let us know how things are. DaBear golfers: Thanks for letting me come out and see how it's done. Very impressive. Pool Guy, did you get those "shorts" back in time or did you have to pay extra? Bovie, thanks for showing me that "special" hip action you use before you drive. Next time take your belt up one notch before you do it again. Great party!!!! thanks to all who came. You are the ones who make it great. Good to see Mike Speedy Harrison again. Come back every chance you get. I got a phone call from our friend Carol Carpenter, Sunday. Her company has been down sizing and moving to a smaller place while increasing work loads. Said she REALLY wanted to join us, but it didn't work out and she missed us all. She is going to try and check in here more often. Now, as to this vote McGee is holding to throw me out of the class, I'm not worried. I watched him mark his score card, anything over a 5 he writes down a 4 and he never got a chance to write down 1, 2 or 3 so I doubt that he knows how! |
