KMD, I got an email from Don (L) that try as hard as he can, he just can"t make it up to Saxie to deliver the flaming sack to celebrate your birthday. He asked if I could "fill in" for him. As much as I hate not to be able to help when a friend requests it, I am also not available. If you could do me a favor and make a collection from your back yard, place it in a paper sack (if you can find one), place it on your front porch, set the sack on fire, ring your doorbell and run around back. I know you go to bed early, but if possible perform the act after dark. If Mike is home you can make him answer the door, if not please act surprised when you open the door. Report your disgust on the GB the next day. Don gets his laugh. I get credit for helping out and there is no harm done and no one is any the wiser. Let me know if I need to provide a sack for you. (small, medium or large) Thanks for your help.

Jack - Of course Rick met Tinker Bell, Snow White & all the other 'characters' - he was on the 'left coast', right?

JS - I guess our cover is blown & we'll have to find a new target for the 'flamin sack-o-poop'.  KMD sez rumor has it that The Woodlands is somewhat closer than her new doorstep in “Saxie” - hmm ...

Well, that is understandable. You can't expose your family to Mr. Nance.  No, the gals I was speaking of are the other princesses. You know, all the other famous Disney female characters, Cinderella and such. Did you met Tinker Bell??

Jack, Mickey sends his regards, he remembered you and asked about your health, as did Snow White.
Goofy was there and lives up to his name.
I went to a animation class and Goofy was the model for our drawing, now I know how to draw his face. There were a lot of high school girls working at the park, are those the gals your asking about ?
I would have called Mr Nance if I didn't have the family with me.

Sounds like a great trip, Rick. How's my old friend Mick doing?? I has 10 when I went to Disneyland. Did you get to meet your hero, Goofy? Did Snow remember me? Did you met any of the of Gals??  Do you have any pictures of your and Mare with your ears on?? Did Nance dodge you again? You know he did that when I was out there too, Seems to be a pattern forming.

Sounds like a great vac Rick.  Now, are you gonna take a few days to recuperate from the vac??   You are certainly brave . . .  twin 4-year-olds at Disneyland for 3 days!!

I'm having lunch w/Bobby Jones & a Boude Storey friend of his tda at El Fenix.  He's giving me the memorabilia he found in his Mom's house when she recently passed away.  I'll let you know what treasures I come home with!

SNL,  This trip was a family vacation with the four yr old twins and their Mom and Dad. We were there 6 days, 3 days at Disneyland and 1 day at California Adventure the other 2 days were arrival and departure days.
I was 16 yrs old the last time I was at Disneyland, It sure has changed, they have found a whole lot more ways to take your money. But the adventure was great and glad I didn't miss it.

Rick - Glad you're back as we need a little life on the GB.  I think the H-E-A-T here in TX has about worn us all down!  Were you at DisneyLand by yourself on a business trip or was this a family vac?

well, I've been gone one week and was able to continue where I left off on the guest book. I guess not much has happened.
The temp in California was great and I met Mickey and Minnie Mouse and all their friends. I rode all the rides several times and wore a hole in my shoe all the way through to my foot.
However the limp is getting better. Got my picture taken with Snow White, one of her little friends was grumpy so I left.
Four days at Disneyland is too much for a young guy like me, I am glad to be back.

I will kindly thank Don L. (and his partner in crime David H.) to forgo a "repeat performance" from decades earlier as our weiner dogs, Boomer and Chipie, provide all the fertilizer we can handle.

Shortcake (aka KRL) I have to admit that when we stand side by side, arm in arm, you do look cuter wedged under my armpit where you barely reach standing on tiptoe. I'm not saying you're short, I'm just saying...well, okay...you are short.

Anyone that has spent time around the two Karens would innately know that KRL is AT LEAST 11 days "evil-er" than KMD.

Plus, word is out that Don L. is more than a week away from completing his birthday surprise for KMD. Rumor has it that he is busy gathering "raw material" to fill a GIANT bag that will be placed on her porch and set afire on her big day. But you didn't hear it from me.

TNX for setting the rcds straight KMD.  I guess the TWiN thing confused me!     Jerry & I are twins & we were actually born on the same day!

On a different note - I recvd em frm Dane Thornton this wkend.  He sd he finished his 4th round of chemo Fri (7-10) & everything is still the same.  His only bad side effect is extreme fatigue for 7 to 10 days after each treatment.  His next treatment will be the last of July.  Continue to keep Dane in your prayers as he joins Ada Ann & others in the KickA** grp!!!

Alas, even though Shortcake is my evil twin, she is MUCH older than me as my birthday is not until the 22nd of this month (it was a LOOOONG labor).  But thanks for the early BD wishes from SNL and Jack anyway. SNL, you will have to tell me where you got the fan because Mike will definitely want to add it to our Texas room too.

I thought we had a few more days til KarenMD's birthday?

Although, I doubt she'd complain about getting some early presents.
