I just found out my daughter is back in Madrid.  I feel much better.  She should be home b/t August 5-10.  I'll be so happy.

Rick, we did the "soaring" ride when we were at DisneyWorld a few years back. Ain't that great?? Could smell the oranges as we "flew" over the groves and the pines as we soared up the mountains. Could even feel the breezes. We were on the top tier, kinda looking down on the screen. One of my favorites.

Kathy -- She wanted to take a side trip on a long weekend while over there, and put the request out to all 78 students that she is in summer school with, but only 2 responded that they were interested in going to Marrekech.  B/f Ryan left for Spain, she also wanted to go to Istanbul, but I don't think she followed through with that.  I hope not.

Toni, I too did something I didn't think I would ever have the chance to do, While I was in California last week I went Hang gliding over city streets, through mountains and down rivers. I also went to Michael Jackson's memorial service.

Yesterday, I received a phone call from my daughter in Marrekech.  She had been there 2 hours and was uncontrollably crying as she was terrified and wanted me to put her on a plane out of there as soon as I possibly could.  She is with 2 other people there, but she was chased by a man with snakes across/over his neck and he had monkeys on leashes and she was nearly run over by a car.  She is leaving there today at 8:20 am our time (Marrekech is 6 hours ahead of us).  Please send prayers up for Ryan and that she can leave there safely and get back to Madrid.  Her cell phone won't work there and she failed to contact her credit card about her "moving about" and it was cut-off.  She had to use a phone in the hotel to call me as there was not a phone in her hotel room and she said that there were no locks on the doors and this is suppose to be a 5 star hotel.  A parent's worst nightmare.
