As you can see we are in New Mexico now.  We leave tomorrow morning for Chama and should arrive there around noon.  Will be there for a week.

John - if we are not back on time suggest you go on without the RV!

Toni-had a little free time today so I harvesed, plowed and planted.

See you guys later.

Mr. McGee, congrats on the new grand one.

If you don't mind, I would like to add a double and a home run to the news. Beth, our wonderful daughter-in-law is pregnant which will be Jacob's brother or sister...we don't know just yet.

And if this is not enough, our daughter Jeniffer has been dating a nice guy who came over on Sunday and asked us for permission to marry her!

As most know, Jena...lost her husband some 10 years ago...and it has been more than difficult since...but we are very pleased...and just so all understand why I am such a woos...Kathy is the one that told him if he did anything but treat her with respect and treated her well...she would cut off his...well you know...the TRIAD!

Remember guys, she has connections with the Italian BIG BOYS in Chicago !!!

So we have had a wonderful weekend...and will have a great 2010...and there is nothing that will change that.

Hope all are doing great...Ada...everything sounds good. Don, I'm lighting candles, and everyone else...I also light one candle for the remaining members of this class...so if you need some support...let me know, I'll do what I can.

Happy Jack Hawkins, happy birthday. I guess the blow up doll I sent would not fit in the mailbox. Or the postman kept it. See if he has a smile on his face.

Jack, Dru regrets that her rotator cuff surgery last Friday will prevent her from painting for a couple of months. In lieu of a portrait, would you consider a nifty addition to dress up your garage in the following manner?

KMD are you sure Aunt Bessie's is still open?  I thought it closed a few years ago. Do they allow table dancing at Aunt Bessie's??
Toni, I don't know what could have happened. You think Bruce got to the mail first??
One of the few things Glynda and I disagree about is celebrating birthdays. She thinks they are big deals and should be celebrated. I think they are important until you are about 13 or if you stop having them. So there was no celebrating. Just some grilled steaks.

Congrats on another grandone, Sandy!  You really will have your own baseball team soon!

Happy Jack, happy belated birthday!  Sorry I missed the celebration...guess my invitation got lost in the mail or something!

Linda P, I know you will be glad when your daughter gets home.

SNL, why does it not surprise me that your washer/dryer are Cowboy colors?

Shortcake, your farm is in excellent hands, my friend!

SNL, my guess for the color of your new washer is Dallas Cowboys Blue.

Jack, I wouldn't be opening any packages (or sacks) from Don L. if I were you. Of course the ladies would love for you to join us for brunch. Be at Aunt Bessie's Tea Room on First Street in Weatherford at 10:30 a.m. and go ahead and order your brunch and let Aunt Bessie know your friends will be there any moment to pick up your tab. Don't worry. The wait can't be any longer than the wait for the delivery man to deliver BD presents to your door. Luv ya.

Thank you for all the kind words and well wishes. I'd like to keep this happening for many more years. Since my BD fell on Sunday this year and service companies don't deliver on Sunday, I am anticipating a front porch filled with packages when I get home. I'm hopping for a portrait from Dru, but it will probably be a sketch from John. While most of you didn't mention it in your well-wish, I know how giving this group is. The guys are probably planning a surprise get-together at a local establishment. I can let my imagination run wild with what the ladies will come up with. Maybe an invite to the brunch!!!
But really, many thanks.
Congrats, Grandpa McGee (how did the babysitting go??)

KMD - I thought abt you & Mike yesterday & I was sooo jealous!!!  Just remember, if you should suddenly become ill & can't make it to one of the Cowboys games, I told Mike I'd be more than happy to stand in for you!   It wouldn't be out of his way at all since we live so close.  You take care now KMD . . .

Good Grief, I don't turn my pc on for a day and a half & look what I missed . . . Hawkins B-day!!  Jack ol' buddy,  hope yesterday was a good one for you & may we live to have many more "planning sessions" together!!     HAPPY B-DAY (yesterday) HAPPY JACK!!

KMD - Yuvonne had some good advice.  Buying a pc is kinda like buying a new washer . . .  there's a lotta crap out there they try to sell you, but you don't need it.  Write down what you really need & what applications you use most of the time.  Buy with that in mind.  I have a great story to tell you abt my experience shopping for a new washer & dryer. (we'll talk abt it Sat) My last one was a little over 14 yrs old & the washer sounded like an 18 wheeler stripping it's gears when it changed cycles.  I'm proud to say as of Sat mrng I have a new Kenmore washer & dryer & you'll never guess what color it is!!!

Linda - congrats on Ryan abt to be heading home, I'm sure it can't be too soon for you!  Oh, Linda  . . .  guys never read instructions!!!  YOU hve to read them & when they say,"where do you think this part goes?" you lamely say, "I dunno, maybe here."  Never refer to the fact that you read the instructions.

Happy Birthday, Jack, hope this will be your best year ever.

Old McGee had a team,
Ee i ee i oh
And on that team he had "4" grandsons,
Ee i ee i oh,
With a baseball here,
And a football there,
here a ball, there a ball
Everywhere a ball,
Ee I ee I oh.....
I could go on....that just popped in my head congratulations to your family!
