Comments: Happy Anniversary Rod and Linda!! Happy Birthday Roe and welcome to the best club ever; the Grandpa Club!!!! We don't hear enough from you. Good to hear from Alabam Sam too. Hope you'll be a regular. Well, that certainly clears things up, Kathy. Candy and a charm bracelet, probably worth a kiss, even on Wilbur.
Comments: Happy Anniversary to my good friend, Rod, and his wife Linda. Happy Birthday, Roe.
Comments: Roe, so good to see you on the GB again! Happy Birthday!
Comments: happy birthday Roe
Comments: Butterfingers McGee...my apologies if I sounded like the "big cat"! Mr. Capps was just a teddy bear, so naturally older, younger he got 'um all! As for the golf, well, I was really looking forward to getting the ladies tee advantage for Boude Storey. It might still happen at the last moment. Wait! Does that mean Mr. Capps and I would be on the same team???
Comments: H a p p y B i r t h d a y wishes go out to Roe 'Farmer' Burrow, today! Roe, glad you decided to check-in & didn’t get flooded out recently. You’re overdue for a visit - c’mon up & see us Sat., 10/3, for our next mini - best wishes!
Comments: BELATED H a p p y 39th A n n i v e r s a r y !!! to Rod & Linda Savage, married in Eugene, OR, 9/19/70. Major congratulations to you 2 lovebirds. Sure wish you lived closer, so we could see you both at our mini next month. Best wishes for many, many more!
Comments: Ms. Kathy (Cougar) Arrington, Bay Watch Capps was known to chase the hot older women. He speaks of you in glowing terms. Too bad you can't play in the golf tourney. I had hope we had someone from Boude Story that could hit off the tee box.
Comments: Wow, I just read about 20-pages in the GB and all seem to be enjoying life to the fullest. We have just found out that Carolyn & I well be new Grandparents. How exciting, this will be our first. Never thought I would be sleeping with Gamma, or her with Grandpa. Hope all is well, we are drying out after 14-inches of rain and more on the way. Can you spell Social Secutry?
Comments: SNL, when you promise, you deliver! With all the rain, my fingers and toes were getting pruny! And no, it's not because I'm another year older today!!!
Comments: Don L - Fantastic news!! Susan, as I promised, I ordered up a sunny day for your B-day today! Enjoy! Happy B-day today to you! Samuel Marion Smith - You ol' rascal. I almost fell outta my chair yesterday when you called me!! So glad to hear you are dng well & interested in gtng back in touch with your old SOC friends. The "other " Sam Smith posts here so it's a good thing ya'll don't live in the same city or we'd never keep you straight! You'll be Sam M in Alabama & the other will be Sam R in Coppell. Welcome aboard Sam & hope you'll ck in often to chat with us.
Comments: Great blessings for you Don. Happy b-day to Susan and Sammy. Now, let's put this "kissin' thing" straight! If I remember correctly the first kiss Mr. Capps got was sitting on my couch in the living room...(more private, right?) Don't remember the candy, but thought there was a charm for bracelet of Eagle involved...was that a different boyfriend??? Ya know, ya have to watch out for "older" women, just in case they try to take advantage of "younger" guys!!! Now, you notice "I" don't go into details...no kiss and tell here! Jack if I can see anyway to get out of day 2 seminar, I certainly will. I was really looking forward to having a great advantage on the handicap and giving the others a run for their money.
Comments: Thanks for the birthday wishes... Jack, Moss, Sammy, and Rusty! Was shocked and saddened to learn of Larry Reid passing last year! He and I went back before the 1st grade. Interesting postings on GB...McGee declaring his deep affections for Bovie. About time yall came out of the closet!
Comments: I'm glade you Acorn boys and gals of 66 could take a little time off from your bizzy (lawless) schedule and play in this BMF Project Golf Tourney. But we need to get the rules squire before this showdown with the Stallions of 67. A note to the Mr Plaid Butterfingers "No Pocket Drops". A lost ball in the woods is not found in the middle of the fairway. Kid a 10 foot put is not a give'me because Cold Cash says that's good. Pistol Petie when marking your ball with a marker in the right hand stretching to the pin while picking your ball in the left hand ain't going to fly. Happy Jack if you start with 2 dozen balls on # 1 and have 6 balls left after hole #18 and say you broke a 90ty that too ain't going to fly either. Tony and Bruce if you like playing with the wind at your back on every hole you can cross over from the dark side and fly with the 67ers
Comments: Wake up, everybody; it's a beautiful day today. Last night I was able to put back all the songs on my iPod that I had inadvertently(?) deleted. Since I don't know how I deleted all the songs off my iPod, I was real careful trying to put them back. With all the technology that's suppose to make our lives so much easier, I don't really believe it. But it is amazing that a little gadget can hold thousands of songs and when you listen to them, they sound so wonderful. Go figure! Right now I'm listening to the "Book of Love." |
