Comments: I haven't been on our website much lately. Been too busy trying to find work. But, I just noticed the Brandon Michael Fugate Memorial Golf Tournament. What a wonderful idea and tribute to the late grandson of two of our most beloved classmates. When I noticed this, I have to admit, it brought tears to my eyes. I wish I were a golfer so I could play in the tournament. But, alas, I am not. Barb and Don, we love you. Our hearts were broken when you lost Brandon. We cried along with you. I feel you already know that. I just hope this tournament will be something that will bring you peace and pride. I feel it will be a fitting tribute to a talented young man whose life in this world was tragically cut short. I hope you will enjoy the tournament. And, I am sure Brandon is looking on you two with a big smile, waiting for you to rejoice with him in Heaven. I must tell you, Barb & Don, that I know you still shed tears for Brandon. But, when I asked the two of you about how everyone is doing, you both had genuine smiles and talked about Brandon with such pride. All I could think of was, "How Wonderful." Brandon would surely want you smiling and proud of him. Thanks for being strong, great friends of our class.
Comments: Howdy, I have seen that old river, Trinty, run bank to bank many a times. We have had some nice sunshine here during the day. Went fishing and I am glad that catching fish is not a requirment <-sp?> for fishing. Jolae and I had a great time. I got some appt. set up with a therapist for the next few weeks, to help me stop falling down so much. About Patrick Swaze, was he also in a TV-mini seris called "North and South" ? I really like those kind of shows and may see if I can find it on eBay. Jolae is good at that kind of stuff. I am sorry if my topics seem off from everyone elses , its cause I don't come around that often. But I am working on it. I have been emailing Richard McCord lately. Comments: JD, tell Guido not to come to my neighborhood as I never had your credit card...Shortcake was in charge of it the last time I knew about its whereabouts! She may have had her rolling mansion redecorated by now! John Southworth was trying to talk her into loaning it to him recently!! About my grandone....it's ANOTHER boy....and is due at the end of January 2010, and that will take three boys for them. SNL, fences have been mended.

Comments: How about another SOC luncheon. Martha Speaks and I are sponsoring a luncheon on October 3rd at 11:30 am at La Calle Doce. You can also view the new structure at the Oak Cliff Bank Tower a couple of blocks away made from materials of the Twin Towers after 911. Comments: SNL...I must say that I am a little disappointed that members of the class have not used my Credit card for some time...but would like to know who is the current holder...the last I say it was Toni...please enlighten me so I can tell my friend Guido of the Chicago Guido's who to go after if the bill is too high.
Comments: SNL, I wish it was this year...but alas it is March of 2010...Jacob wants a sister that he can protect...Mom and Dad and Grand Parents want a healthy baby...will know in about 3-4 weeks...boy or girl...will let all know when the announcement comes. However, as all families grow, ours will be bulging once the baby arrives...Jeniffer is now engaged and her husband to be has 2 daughters...that we have taken in as if they were here all along. This initially represents 3 additions starting in February next year, then the baby in March and Jenna's baby...whenever???? All this means that we will be growing as a family from our current 6 to 10 in two separate months next year and I'm almost sure to 11 within 18 months. We believe this so much that we have ordered a new Dinning Room table that we are going to place in our family room in front of the fireplace and reducing our kitchen table to room for only 2...Kathy and me!!! The table is a rectangle of 110 inches once fully extended...lots of room for more expansion if needed. Donny F., thanks for the information...watch the mail for the envelope. As a closing note...I always keep up on the GB, but like my dear friend Mr. Dagley, I've become a lurker. Also, as a happy note and one that should result in finding a lost classmate...it appears Jack Hawkins and I may have found Jimmie Pyle...more to come from Jack...we hope.

Comments: I passed over the trinity river today and what usually is a small stream is now covered from bank to bank with deep water. I'm sorry SNL I must have brought this rain on when I washed my truck.

Comments: SNL, I agree with you about Patrick Swayze. He was a heart-throb for me twenty plus years ago! I was sure hoping he'd beat the big C. It's taking way too many of us.
Comments: I don't know abt the rest of you, but I was so sad when I awoke this mrng to hear Patrick Swayze had passed away! We knew it was coming , but Geezz, he was only 57! Who among us will ever forget Dirty Dancing or Ghost!! There are some scenes in both movies that are etched in my mind forever! Oooh Weee. . . could he move.   Life is short my friends, be good to one another & to your friends!!
Comments: Rain, Rain, go away, don't come back for many days!  I'm so tired of this constant rain. Tda is 5th straight day of rain. It's drizzling now. I think my grass has drowned & the flowers are mildewing! Please let there be sunshine tda!Hey JD, aren't you going to be grandpa again some time this yr? When? I think we're expecting a lot of new Grandones the last part of this yr & early next. Ours is due Jan 6, when is yours JD? Jerry, when is yours? Let's hear from others with new Grandone dates!!
