For any of you wishing to respond to Mr. Southworth, he will be at Sundale doughnuts on hwy 242 in The Woodlands at 9:00 AM this morning. The building has an all glass front.

Is there a site to get info on the golf tournament Friday?

I'm sure all of you will join me in hoping the Carolina Panthers get off to a HUGE first quarter lead tonight so we won't feel guilty about abandoning the Cowboys to watch Dancing With The Stars.

Dear Classmates, we are now closing the benefit fund for Barney Sonny Kemp. Thanks to your generosity we have collected over and above the amount needed so that his arrangements will now be paid in full. Thank you for being so generous with your caring spirit. God Bless each and every one of you for your help for our dear friend and classmate.

I'll be t/w him shortly & will give him the good wishes from his SOC friends.  I'm sure that will cheer him up!

Toni - Don't get me confused with KMD.  She's the one who actually goes to the game!    I'm the one who watches it from my living rm!!   But I've had my full size Cowboys flags since the first of the 3 Super Bowls in the 90s.  I always fly them on game day!!    Enjoy tonight . . .  we need a big Win!

SNL, I just read about Gordy and thought OMG! Thank goodness he was able to call 911 before it was too late and get help. I will keep him in prayer to heal completely and be back to his old self real soon.

Mike and I are loading the car to go tailgate at Cowboys Stadium before the game tionight. Yes, Mike like's to get a good parking place close to the exit (he's got it down to a science, believe me). Go Cowboys!

The arteries in his legs were clogged!  He had one leg done abt 4 or 5 wks ago & it went well without any problems.  But when they went to do the other leg there were complications.  Luckily he called 911 & got to the hospital in time.

I t/w Gordy Johnson early this mrng & he's bk in hospital.  He had surgery on his leg Thur & went home Fri.  Sat mrng when he got up the suture apparently didn't hold & main artery broke open.  He nearly bleed-out but paramedics got him to Medical City & his Dr had to do another surgery to repair damage.  He will remain in Medical City until at least Wed.  Get well & feel better soon Gordy!!

No need to push my luck chasing down that little white ball, only to hit it into the brush & get pi$$ed again for losing it.  Just never appealed to me, but you 'Da Bears' guys go right ahead & I'll meet you for a cold one-or-two afterward.

Instead, my older son, Greg (flew in from WA over the weekend for a quick visit) & I, plus a coupla friends, broiled in the sun today watching the NHRA Fall National drag races at the TX Motorplex in Ennis.  Ahhh, the smell of nitro, burnt rubber & hot brakes - it was great.  Sort of brought back memories of Yellow Belly Raceway, except for the nitro.

Yes, I was slathered in sunblock 50, which I became an ardent fan of recently.

Sandy Mc, your thinking of the golfers on this GB, not the game.  It's also a little weird they refer to it as a "stroke", which is pretty much where most of us are headed anyway, so we may as well take up the game.

How come in golf it's still called handicap?  Shouldn't it be physical or mentally challenged?

Buddy -- you just keep on using that imagination.  The best part is you guys are still able to walk/ride a golf course and tell all the lies that you do. Do you tell new ones or just keep repeating all the old stories?  Like all good wines, you just get better with age.  Or so I hear.
