Richard, on the late show last night, Conan went outside the NBC Studio and showed that it was raining in L.A. He said the threat of mudslides could be possible but the good news was that they didn't expect the mud to burn.

Comments: I'm sorry everyone, I haven't been able to post the party pics from our recent mini!!  I always have at least my pics posted by the 1st wk, but last wk wasn't a good one for me & too many unplanned things happened. Now I'm packing up to be in Tulsa Tue & Wed & I hope we can go to the State Fair on Thur, weather permitting.I promise to post them this wk end! I took 19 good pics & Brunson called me Sat mrng to get my add as he is mailing me his pics on a disc. Donnie also got some good ones & I will probably have both of their discs when I get bk from Tulsa. Have a good week & I'll be back in the ofc on Fri.

Went to Austin last weekend, attended great Distinguished Engineering Alumni dinner---wouldn't you know it, out of the whole crowd 2 Oak Cliff gals we just KNEW each other! Don't know how, but she's so great----Sharon Waters Rigsbee---turns out her sister is married to Sue Sue's brother! Small world. Richard, you're in real danger--"THREAT of Drizzle!" Better Hunker Down good buddy, Shelter in Place, the roads are murder!
Comments: I was watching the national weather conditions and noted all the rain, floods, etc. you folks are putting up with. Then a local weatherman stated southern Calif. is under the "threat of drizzle" for the next few days. I'm not kidding. So, we'll need all your prayers as we try to get beyond this threat of drizzle. I'm headed out now to get sand bags (they're free at the fire dept.)

Comments: Great news for the Tillery's. My daughter Nicole and her husband had a baby girl yesterday at 3:03 pm. Her name is Emma Grace Powell. Mother and baby are doing great. I will send a picture when I get a chance next week. |
