Comments: I can't remember when we've had a wetter "late summer & early fall"!!! This must be what it feels like in Seattle! Doc Mitchell - Please post the info here abt the reunion of your band as many of us in this area want to know When, Where, Time, etc regrading ya'lls appearance. Ricky Poo - Yes your eyes were open, but sadly . . . you have passed the "Rickyeyes" disease on to others.
Comments: Hey slow down there speed racer SNL. My Birthday will come soon enough. Thanks Don for pointing that out. The Speed Trucker reunion will be October 16 at The Granada. If my son plays before then, will post it here.
Comments: SNL, were my eyes open?
Comments: Mr. & Mrs. Hawkins, your grandchildren are adorable!!!!
Comments: Shortcake, Toni, and Happy Jack; watch it ! We may have a case of racial profiling here. I do believe SOC had many reps taking a stroll in the woods. That is the one last rights of being a man today. From a 67 Stallion Stud as the Professor Smiley said "Gelded now" ; that is just cold blooded cruel pal
Comments: The mini on Saturday was ....well ...what can I say Sandy you always do a great job .....This is the first chance to go on GB and say I had a wonderful afternoon in Dallas. The ranch is crazy as usually , Baby filly coliced on Sunday had to call the vet all was touch and go for 24 hours,we got 5 inches of rain and I think sometime during Sunday we moved to the Colorado Rockies that is what all the rushing water sounds like, Zoe fractured 2 fingers playing football and is out of Volleyball for the rest of the season. This weekend has been very exciting. It was great seeing all you all and I look forward to attending another event soon! Have a great week .Thanks again Sandy !
Comments: Thanks JD, but with 2 in WY and 2 in IL and 1 in NC there is no place we can move and be closer to them all. So we will stay put here. Well, Toni, that answers the question that has been buzzing on the back burner. Did Toni or Karen see the bud in the trees? Guess so!
Comments: Jack: I am remiss in not telling you before that your grandchildren are adorable. I'm not sure how you can not move to Montana...I don't know what I will do when we move to AZ for the winter...but hoping the airlines will still be running...sorry I missed the Mini...will be back in June, God Willing. Don & Barb...our check will be in the mail tomorrow...we got caught up in house changes...sorry.
Comments: What a fun-filled weekend we had. Friday was a very special event and our hats are off to everyone affiliated with The BMF Project for a wonderful and meaningful event. It was really an honor to be involved, and Bruce and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We sincerely hope that the golf tournament will be an annual event for a long time to come. Jack and Karen, Bruce and I will play with you two any time, and I promise to learn how to better use my irons! Even though we didn't have a winning score, we are very proud of how far we've come in a few short months. Butterfingers, your apparel was well-represented as Bruce wore his patchwork golf shorts! One of the funniest things I saw on the golf course Friday was a gentleman hanging out in the woods!!! I don't need to mention his name, he knows who he is! I think Shortcake got a picture too! Saturday's mini was great fun. It was really great to visit with everyone! Someone needs to give Bovie a Mapsco for Christmas! ![]()
Comments: Hi all, yes Saturday was great and miss those of you who didn't make it. Thank you Sandy for another succesful event. I stand to be corrected of the band location where (David Mitchell) will be playing. "Speed Truckers" will be performing at the Granada in Dallas on Oct. 16. It's a lot of fun and Daddy Mitchell will be there. Hope to see you there. Hugs & Love
Comments: Jim and I had a great time Saturday at the get-together. It was wonderful to see everyone! Sandy -- thank you for always managing to get everyone together! What would we do without you?!?!? And thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!! Every year we have is more time to enjoy family, friends and a wonderful life!
Comments: Thank you for the kind words about the kids. I kinda think they are cute and special, but it is always good to hear others say so too. What a weekend!!! Friday was beautiful. A great day to gather for a great cause with some great people. Even without Brightpants McGee, Da Bears put the cubbies of 67 in their place by best them on the golf course. Steve Gray, Gary Dagley, Bovie Browning and Dale Smiley did the class proud. I have to add that I am very proud of the team I played on. Toni (Rodgers) Jones and Bruce Jones, Karen (Melton) Davis and I are proud of our 85. It was a true team effort and very enjoyable. The mini Saturday was fun, as always. Missed many of our "regulars" and those we thought were coming and didn't make it. It is always good to see the ones who show up. We appreciate those who have to make a trek to visit. As mentioned in other post, Jack Sanders, Roe Burrows, Donna Pratly, Dale and Yvonne and, I'm sure, others who's names don't come to mind right now. It was good to see everybody. We missed those who were not there.
Comments: Hello, Betty McKee! I remember in school, everyone asked me if you were my sister. I always wondered if we were related. I have lived in Allen almost 30 years. When I moved to Allen, a traffic jam was three cars at our one blinking light. You need to come visit and see how it has changed. It is NOTHING like you remember. It is NOTHING like it was when I moved here. Send me an e-mail and I will tell you about it. I bet we know some of the same people from here. And, I would love to catch up with you. Been a LONG time since I have seen you. I don't think I have seen you since we graduated. My e-mail is on the e-mail link on this posting.
Comments: Jack your grand kids are adorable. I know you and Glynda wish they lived closer. This weather is soooooo depressing. I got absolutely nothing done at work today...when is the sun going to shine again?
Comments: Jack, that's a great photo of the grandones. |
