You are right, Jack. Men are supposed to grill and make coffee. The bible teaches us that :

Grilling: always men offering sacrifices on the barbie
 Coffee :  Hebrews !

Now Dale you had me believing that story up until you said SHE grilled them.  Everybody knows that the men do the grilling. Women do a great job in the kitchen, but grilling is a special technique, requiring a man's touch. Next you'll be telling me she cleaned them too!

Jack - the gun I have was my Dad's.  He had several rifles & this handgun. Oje has the rifles.  It's a Llama automatic pistol 32mm.

I found it in my Dad's sock drawer after my Mom died in 94 & I had to clean out & sell everything in their house down in Ferris.  I shot the bullet in the chamber & the one left in the magazine before packing it in with the clothes & heading back to Dallas.  That was the last time I shot it.  It has a good feel & is accurate.  It remains in the sock drawer by my bed.

Dale - Didn't know you married a Pistol Packing Momma.  Come to think of it, Yuvonne is more like Annie Oakley!!

Jack,
I spent the first 15-20 years of our marriage trying to catch up to her bagged deer count. She has harvested about 30-40 white tails. We went dove hunting last week and she was dropping them as fast as I was. Then she wrapped the dove in bacon with a jalapeno in the middle, stuck a toothpick in it and cooked it on the grill. I ate about a dozen. She also shot a snake off of a tree limb in a tank from about 25-30 feet last trip out to the ranch. She used to go varmint hunting with us and I would hate to be a coyote or bobcat within range. Purty good shot.

The first gun I bought was a Savage Model B Fox, 12 Ga side by side. Did alot of bird hunting with it. Loved the way it handled and pointed. Came across a deal on a Chas. Daley over and under I couldn't pass up, so I bought it. Sold the model B to lessen the impact on the pocket book. I have looked high and low for another one for 30 years. I still miss that old cheap SWEET gun. Buddy, what ever the Professor says plus $50.00. SNL are you only a long gun gal or do you have hand gun experience? Professor, can Y hit anything with that peashooter??

I understand Dale - my 16 is from 1952 value about 100 bucks, from my Dad priceless. My first gun.

Keep those weapons locked up from the drunks in Conroe. The old man in the video should be locked up giving that little girl a 50 cal. See u on the lake my friend.    budman

Buddy,
I have my dads ol Stevens side by side 16 gauge. It never was an expensive gun but is so sweet to handle and I don't remember him missing very many doves with it. I wouldn't take for it.
I was just kidding about the $20. Make that $25.00

Ada Ann - I look at Sophie's pic at least once a day (I love to look at all the Grandone pics) & yes, she does make me smile!!!  She is so happy . . .  you have to smile.

JD - TX has the same law.  If you shoot 'em in your house...  no problem, but don't let them stumble outside!  I don't like to kill anything, bunny, deer, bird, fish, etc.  I even catch the spiders & crickets in the house & release them outside.  BUT, if I were there alone & heard someone breaking in my house . . . I'd cock the hammer, kneel down by the bed & aim straight at the door about chest high.  I'd have no problem pulling the trigger.  Why?  Because someone was threatening my life & my home!

Don took the bullets out of the gun the other day & moved them.  He told me that since he lost his job he's concerned he's worth more dead than alive!

SNL...I'm glad to see that you and Yuvonne as well as Mrs Lincoln shoot...so does my Kathy...she learned from her dad a 45 year policeman.

Guns are our friends when we need them...and deadly to all intruders.

I have told Kathy many times, if I'm out of town and someone breaks into the house...lay on the floor in our bedroom door...as they come walking up the steps to our 2nd floor level...shoot him in the chest...more than once...then call 911.

Sorry RN...the rule in WI is that if you shoot them inside your house you're alright. If the intruder falls out the front door...drag them back inside...then call 911.
