Sandy, He is such a great guy, you need to start the bidding really high!  Seriously, I pray that he will mend quickly.  I also hope you plan to get plenty of bubble wrap before he ventures out again. 😂

Shortcake, I'm glad you have such great neighbors & that you are doing a bit better.  I do know what you're talking about regarding the shower!  Last yr Don had a cast on his left arm for 12 weeks.  For about 8 wks it was from shoulder to fingertips, then it was elbow to fingertips and then wrist. We had to get very creative to find plastic bags that fit and worked.  Hang in there girl.

Paul - Thanks for the tips about Ebay!  I may have to put a disclaimer with the ad. [rolleyes]

The hand is still a little swollen and has turned many different colors.  Looks great.  Hardest part is taking a shower without getting it wet.  Have cut pain pills down to Half at night.  One of our friends here brought us spaghetti with the sauce, salad, bread and dessert for dinner last night.  It was great.  hard eating with my left hand but got it done.  Both our kids are here Now.  We have had all our shots and feel relatively safe.

hope Don is doing better.  Take care.

I’m afraid that to sell Don on Ebay you would have to reveal his condition.   Just try to present him in as positive a light as possible. 🥸

John, you're always welcome here and at our Minis.  My greatest hope is that this darn pandemic will be under control by years end and we can start planning get-togethers for next Spring!  I just don't think this Fall is going to work as we're still knee deep in this stuff!

We've all worked so hard to stay safe and giving up so much over the past 13 or so months, let's not blow it now and get too over confident.  I can hardly wait to see everyone and just hug y'all.

Been a while since I dropped in on the '66 Guestbook and I'm not liking the news on Sandy Lynn's husband. How does one treat a collar bone fracture? Sounds tricky.

Don Lincoln, you put a smile on my face when I scrolled down the other guestbook comments. Was quite surprised to see my own name mentioned for surviving to yet another birthday.

I follow a few of you on Facebook and have fond memories of the "mini" events this class has hosted in the past. Hopefully, we will all get past this Covid era and can safely mingle again.

Would I have to reveal his "condition" if I put him on Ebay?  Or is it a buy-at-your-own-risk type deal?  I never use Ebay . . . just wondering.

Paul - Someone needs to tell Don this ain't the way to do it.  [nono] 3rd year in a row he has been incapacitated for a number of weeks.  Last year ( 12 wks in a cast) and this year 6-8 wks of no use of his arm whatsoever.  Jack, no criss-cross strap but he has to hold it close to his body or have it in the sling he got at ER.  Not suppose to move it at all.  He's lucky I don't put the bike on Ebay and sell it.  [rolleyes]

It was quiet on the GB for awhile so it is good to see y’all posting. Just sorry that one of the subjects has to be Don’s accident.  Back at our last Mini he told me he had a plan to get lots of “sugars” from Sandy but I never imagined he was planning something this extreme!🤪

Sorry to hear about Don's latest adventure. Maybe that bike is just too wild to tame. Does he have to wear one of those figure 8 bands around his shoulders? Seems like that used to be the "cast" for collar bones. Shortcake, I told you hitting would come back to "bite" you. Good and quick mending to all the folks in repair. I fear the Rangers will be hugging the bottom of the standing again this year. But what can you expect when you keep trading away your best players. Daniels got to go.

Thank you Karen & Ada Ann.  Dr said at least 6-8 wks for it to heal and grow back together.  I think it's the sidewalk snakes that are getting him.  [biggrin]  You know, kinda like the snow snakes that make you fall on the ski slopes for no apparent reason! [rolleyes]

Karen, hope your hand is doing better today.  I know it was swollen the first day.

Don's in a lot of pain but other than pain pills every 4 hrs or so there's not much else we can do.  It just has to heal and he's doing best he can to manage without moving his should or pretty much the left side of his body. Can barely get up or down from the easy chair.

Sandy, I am so sorry to hear about Don's accident.  He is trying to do the right thing in order to stay healthy, but the Bike Gods have a different agenda.  Hope he is feeling better soon.
Ronney, I think of you often and you are in my prayers.
Crocus have bloomed, so spring is here.....finally!

SNL so sorry to hear about Don’s accident.  Tell him we are going to get him training wheels if he does not settle down.  The weather here was beautiful today.  We have a group we call the Buckhorn topless club.  we all have convertibles and on the weekend one of the couples finds a place for us to eat lunch in the open and then we take the backroads there.  We see some beautiful flowers and scenery.  I did not go today.  My sister and brother-in- law were here so I let Jim take my place.  He really seemed to enjoy it.  I took Linda to one of my favorite places to eat lunch.  Great day.
