BTW - I texted Charles earlier to wish him well and that we all were praying for him.  He replied that he came home this afternoon.

I asked if Dr's got his meds straightened out yet - ?  He said it might be a week before he'd know.

Keep prayin!

Don L., I just wish Don’s new trike had airbags.  Sandy can just wrap him in bubble wrap.

Sandy - Here's a possible solution:

Worksman Side-by-Side "Team Dual" 3-Speed Recumbent Trike
If anything goes wrong, you can grab the wheel and avoid an accident. Also, suggest taking a more 'right-ward' route in order to give his left side more recovery time!

Alright, that's enough ribbing.  I sincerely wish Don the the very best - quick healing and as little pain as possible.  That goes for you, as well - Mrs. Caretaker! [wink]

Thank you so much for the good update Ada Ann.  I'm so glad to hear it because when I spoke with him late Monday night he wasn't doing that well.  The many doctors involved in his care couldn't quite get on the same page with what meds he should be taking.  He was very aggravated with them and I don't blame him.  Hopefully he'll be able to go home tomorrow.

I just talked to Charles. He is in good spirits. They are changing his meds around and that is affecting his heart. His CF doc is working with his Cardiologist to get him straightened out. He sounded good.

Spring has sprung here in N. TX, unfortunately, we have a lot less "spring" in our shrubs & plants.  We were holding out for some green leaves to appear on quite a few of the shrubs . . . but it doesn't look promising.  [frown]  Looks like we'll be getting some new landscape in the front and back yards. But hey, this week is all sunshine and breezy, so not all bad.

Hope that everyone had a blessed and a wonderful Easter.  Being so far from Dallas, I miss not only my family but my SOC family.  It is hard loosing touch with good friends that we have grown up with for one reason or another.  Sometimes not even knowing why!    Keep your friends close and talk more often.  Love all you guys!

Amen Paul.  There is a light at the end of this nightmare known as the "Coronavirus Pandemic".  I'm so happy that my family and so many of my SOC friends have been vaccinated.  It's a new beginning today, thanks to Jesus dying on the cross for us.  Let's make it a good one.

Richard, you are always thinking.  Good to know he won't have to worry about getting called up again by the military!  I bet your brothers collarbone healed a lot quicker than it's going to do on a 75-year-old guy.  But thanks for the kind thoughts, we're doing the best we can, just no easy way to get thru this.

Sorry to read about Charles, but he's definitely the toughest guy on the block as he just comes back again and again. I trust he'll do well.  Regarding Don's broken collar bone, I accidently broke my older brother's collar bone playing when we were quite young.  It kept him out of military years later.  So, tell Don he may not qualify for the service if he's thinking about re-upping.  Just a thought.

Gary, I have been talking with him this past week or so several times and I know he has had problems with his meds.  The darn doctors put him on new meds, then a day or so later take him off as not good for him.  Sometimes the doctors are the problem!

Will continue to pray for him and his recovery.  He is resilient and usually positive but when a Dr acts like there's no hope and brushes you off . . .  made me so mad I wanted to go up there and give her a piece of my mind!!  Thank you Gary!  I'll call him later today.  Prayer please!
