Place: Richardson Comments: Thank you so much for the good update Ada Ann. I'm so glad to hear it because when I spoke with him late Monday night he wasn't doing that well. The many doctors involved in his care couldn't quite get on the same page with what meds he should be taking. He was very aggravated with them and I don't blame him. Hopefully he'll be able to go home tomorrow.
Place: NH Comments: I just talked to Charles. He is in good spirits. They are changing his meds around and that is affecting his heart. His CF doc is working with his Cardiologist to get him straightened out. He sounded good.
Place: Richardson Comments: Spring has sprung here in N. TX, unfortunately, we have a lot less "spring" in our shrubs & plants. We were holding out for some green leaves to appear on quite a few of the shrubs . . . but it doesn't look promising. Looks like we'll be getting some new landscape in the front and back yards. But hey, this week is all sunshine and breezy, so not all bad.

Place: Kerrville Comments: Hope that everyone had a blessed and a wonderful Easter. Being so far from Dallas, I miss not only my family but my SOC family. It is hard loosing touch with good friends that we have grown up with for one reason or another. Sometimes not even knowing why! Keep your friends close and talk more often. Love all you guys!
Place: Richardson Comments: Amen Paul. There is a light at the end of this nightmare known as the "Coronavirus Pandemic". I'm so happy that my family and so many of my SOC friends have been vaccinated. It's a new beginning today, thanks to Jesus dying on the cross for us. Let's make it a good one.
Place: Edmond Comments: A BLESSED Easter to all. Letβs truly make this Day 1 of the REST of our lives.
Place: Richardson Comments: Richard, you are always thinking. Good to know he won't have to worry about getting called up again by the military! I bet your brothers collarbone healed a lot quicker than it's going to do on a 75-year-old guy. But thanks for the kind thoughts, we're doing the best we can, just no easy way to get thru this.
Place: California Comments: Sorry to read about Charles, but he's definitely the toughest guy on the block as he just comes back again and again. I trust he'll do well. Regarding Don's broken collar bone, I accidently broke my older brother's collar bone playing when we were quite young. It kept him out of military years later. So, tell Don he may not qualify for the service if he's thinking about re-upping. Just a thought.
Place: Charles Moss Comments: Gary, I have been talking with him this past week or so several times and I know he has had problems with his meds. The darn doctors put him on new meds, then a day or so later take him off as not good for him. Sometimes the doctors are the problem! Will continue to pray for him and his recovery. He is resilient and usually positive but when a Dr acts like there's no hope and brushes you off . . . made me so mad I wanted to go up there and give her a piece of my mind!! Thank you Gary! I'll call him later today. Prayer please!
Place: Edmond Comments: I am praying for him as I do for all our classmates. πππππππ
Place: Mansfield Comments: Charles was admitted to the hospital tonight. He reluctantly let me post on here. They will be running tests this weekend, but it will be Monday before he sees his doctors to know anything. He needs our prayers because of discouragement and, as usual, for a physical touch from God. Thanks!
Place: Richardson Comments: Happy Easter indeed to everyone. Here it is sunshine & a bit cool but, Don and I are safe, my family is safe and I'm praying for those who are ill and not as fortunate. God Bless each of you on this Good Friday!
Place: Edmond Comments: Happy Easter everyone. βοΈ
Place: Edmond Comments: Sandy, He is such a great guy, you need to start the bidding really high! Seriously, I pray that he will mend quickly. I also hope you plan to get plenty of bubble wrap before he ventures out again. π |
