Comments: For those of you who don't visit the other SOC classes Guestbooks and are not aware of the monthly multi-class luncheons, they do exist. Seems the next scheduled lunch is May 1st. I don't know if they are trying to get people to come or to stay away. Their latest announcement (and this is the part I can't figure out) is that Buddy Capps will be in attendance.
Comments: Coffee moments by John Southworth, I hope you have missed John's Coffee moments as much as me and would like to see his return. His true wit with some sarcasm is always a good way to start the day. John gave up F/B and the SOC G/B for Lent. His return to the seen of his crimes is a count down of about 20 days or so. So we have about 20 days to talk behind his back without the fear of the Southworth rebuttal. In an email he stated he has discovered all this extra time he has missed. And this lovely lady living in his house named Dru. WARNING LABEL his return will be enterjised from forces above so if you are in the Woodlands and see a young lad with a cape and a big "S" on his chest chasing the ladies tell John Howdy for me. I have that feeling I may get a big smack from my friend for this one. Peace John~~~~

Comments: It is my understanding that Southworth gave up his computer for Lent. Isn't it over now? KMD, sorry you can't use Oh Brother where art thou, I knew where he was; Viet Nam. But it is good to see you posting. I thought we had lost you. Richard, you very badly need to come back to your roots. You are almost a Californian and it is starting to show with your choices. If JD was talking about titles for the movie remake of Jack's family abandoning him after his departure to college, I think some of the best titles have already been taken. You just have to add "...The Jack Hawkins Story" to the end of the original titles. For instance:"Gone with the Wind...The Jack Hawkins Story" "And Then There Were None...The Jack Hawkins Story" "Gone in 60 Seconds...The Jack Hawkins Story" "The Vanishing...The Jack Hawkins Story" "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou...The Jack Hawkins Story" And so, and so on... I'm sure there are MANY more. How about it classmates?
Comments: how's this for a title...."Run JD Run" SNL, do we have a private dining room at Mimi's Cafe on Saturday???? Will the combo be playing....you know the one....The Mimosas?? The Hallmark commerical that I was thinking of was actually a coffee commercial where the soldier comes home and surprises the household by making morning coffee and waking them up to the smell of Folgers in their cups!! Jack, I can hardly wait for the continuing saga! To answer your question....no rounds on the golf course! Any ideas up your sleeve? little "a" ....great titles. |
