Comments: Last Sunday we went out to eat after church (state law?) with the grand kids. I said "Did you boys notice how my voice filled the auditorium this morning?" Colter said " Yes PaPa, in fact I saw a few folks moving away to make room for it." Smart-Alec is outa the will !
Comments: Believe it or not I did sit still and sing - I did not laugh or cause a scene  And, evidently my voice is not quite that bad Happy Jack because one of the places that we sing has a squirrel in it!!!! We thought that one of our off-duty officers was going to shoot it...fortunately he caught himself before he did. But it did scare everyone when it came flying across the room during dinner.   No Jack I did not bring it in there.

Comments: Susan, praying for a complete and speedy recovery for you. If you need anything email or call me. I'm a pretty good housekeeper, cook. Don, praying for your brother as well as your family. The doctors, nurses, donors and all attending him. Toni, that picture of your grandson's is priceless. How precious. Congratulations on your retirement. Do you think she's forgotten your retired? Bless Bruce's heart! Shortcake, it would be worth the drive to see you in the choir singing. I can't picture you sitting still and not laughing. I believe Rick and Marilyn had an anniversary. Just a little behind on the GB. Congratulations! Gee, I have to take notes to remember everyone. SNL, you guys be safe driving to Houston. Anyone else going out of town this weekend, same to you. Hope everyone has a great Easter and spend time with your family. (The eggs are for the kids/grand kids)

Comments: Was talking to John Southworth today and he was asking if Karen was really going to sing SO-LOW  . He thought he might drive up to hear that. He is having trouble staying with his Lent commitment. He has been tempted many times to break his vow of quietude. He said last year he gave up a sweater for Lint and it was a lot easier.H A, Don and Kathy. 14 years. She's a lucky gal. Hoping we get a good report on Susan soon. Good to hear from Dane. Keep on keeping on.
Comments: Come on over, Shortcake. My neighborhood is overrun with cats. Maybe your solo would cause them to leave the area. Worse case they would start caterwauling too!! While I naturally question most anything you tell me, considering the timing of your announcement, I think it would be FOOLISH to believe anything today. More especially with this group!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comments: Toni...since I can't remember if you're the oldest or the youngest or 2nd youngest...but am upset that you again beat me to my next goal. However, it does now appear that you can easily make a trip to the North Woods and come and really see and visit God's Country. We have a room all set for you and Bruce. And all the Italian Pasta you can eat...congrats...I personally can't wait until next Feb.

Sorry Sam, I don't have any of those numbers you requested or the $$ you require. I turned all that stuff in and have declared myself a "guest worker". Toni, is that story true?? If so, I'm sorry we never had a chance to meet for lunch that you offered. Those dogs will REALLY be spoiled with you around all the time. Waiting on pins to hear good news from Susan. My bedtime has been pushed back to get all the prayers in. |
