Toni, the picture of Brayden and Hudson is wonderful and touching. I understand how proud you are. And I am so happy for you to have retired. More time for golf now.

SNL, I think hosting the twins one at a time is not only better for your health (LOL) but a great way to make each one feel really special as individuals and not just as a trio. Looking forward to spending time with my grandones Easter Sunday.

Hope to hear from Susan S. real soon. Thinking about you girl. Prayers and good thoughts for Don L's brother Doug too.

Well, I'm working on our tax return. I want to give 14 of you a heads up. I claimed all as exemptions. I'll let you know the who involved tomorrow. In the mean time I'll need your social security numbers, drivers license numbers, checking account numbers including routing numbers, savings account numbers and you need to have at least $10,000.00 in both accounts just in case the IRS contacts you for verification.

Thanks my friends.

Sam

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MOST RECENT RETIREE OF THE CLASS OF '66

TONI ROGERS JONES

After 18 years of working for the "witch without a broom" Toni finally turned in her computer and this is her first week of being at home.  Of course, Toni being the normal person that she is cannot relax - no she has company all week long so is getting up early and staying up late so I have promised her two trips next week one of them to Neimans Tea Room for lunch.  Congratulations Toni - we love you!

Oh, forgot to comment on Toni's grandone pic.  How cute is Brayden holding Hudson.  Know that you just enjoy squeezing them (just a little).

Brother Doug began treatment in San Antonio week before last - mostly re-testing & prep til this week.  Catheter surgically implanted in his right shoulder this past week.

Excerpt from his latest website post on CaringBridge.org:

"Day 16 - I finished the stem cell collection today.  I now have 3.1 million collected and in the freezer.  This is 50% more than what is needed for the transplant ... Two emergency leukemia patients were brought in yesterday for inpatient chemotherapy.  This means my transplant time slot next week will probably slip.  I don’t know the number of days yet, but will find out Thursday after the colonoscopy ... Please be in prayer for the colonoscopy procedure on Thursday at 8am.  The prayer request is, no unwanted surprises and PLEASE guide the hand of the man with that powerful tool."

That's great Rick, maybe this time they will make it.  Right after Easter I will arrange for a location for the get-together.   But first I have to print & get the Gauer Family Reunion invitations  out in the mail by 4-6.  Yikes, that's next Tue!!  I gotta get on the stick!!
