Comments: Linda; you drive on 121 going from Duncanville to McKinney??
Comments: He was alive, but still critical. My knuckles were white for the entire two hours!
Comments: WOW Susan, fast paced & so many people killed!!! Geeeezz!! I'm confused, did Careve (??) die at the end or was he still alive??? Should make for an interesting new season with so few people left!
Comments: SNL, how'd you like Grey's Anatomy last night?
Comments: What a cute picture of Graci licking Hudson. There's no sweeter kisses than those of a dog. My border collie gives the best ear kisses.
Comments: Yesterday I left Duncanville at 8:15 am, drove to McKinney for my granddaugher's pre-school graduation -- missed the rain altogether. Never had to turn my windshield wipers on. Quite different from when I drove to McKinney last Friday about noon in a raging rain storm while on 121.
Comments: Good morning SOC Friends! I have an apology to make... last night in my rush to finish up on the PC, fix supper and eat & clean the kitchen so I cd get to the TV for the Season Finale of Gray's Anatomy, I forgot to tell you I posted a new Grandone photo!! It's one of our newer Grandones getting a little spit bath from a family friend!! Ck it out! Nice to hear we're going to have a good turn out for the 6-5 Party!! Hope Sandra, Linda, Rick, Gary D & Charles are alright! Man, that storm with hail & tornadoes late yesterday recked havoc on the southern part of Dallas. We were lucky, here in Richardson all we got was some much needed rain & a little high wind.
Comments: SNL, Been extremely busy shutting down our website portion of our Elaine Russell Safety business. It's nickel and dime us to death. We found better sales and less expense by joining other vendors at city in the home parties. Meet a lot of nice folks at these homes. See all 6-5-10. That's all Sarah has talked about the last 3-4 weeks. Take care my friends. Will write again soon. Sam
Comments: Golden Bears forever!
Comments: Toni, John, SNL....relax, kick back, grab a glass of wine and take a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxK2-MMQ9TE
Comments: If you subscribe to Facebook and read both of my posts yesterday (you know that I rarely do more than click the "like" option), you know that we've decided to not give in to the scoundrel by giving up on FB fun, friends and games. The only reason we are on FB is for the games and we have Shortcake to thank for that!! There's no way to prove that the Canadian scoundrel is one and the same who attempted to breach Bruce's FB account. Although probably a coincidence, I still believe there is a connection. You should have seen the look on the branch manager's face when I asked her why the fraud alert was ignored by the bank personnel like it did when we last visited Las Vegas. She said, "there's really no good reason why we didn't contact you". Wonders never cease.....imagine some idiot paying an energy (gas) bill and a cable bill with my debit card! I think the bank may already be hot on his/her trail! Hell hath no fury like a women whose bank account has been compromised!
Comments: Richard, as the Old Stock Trader's Almanac tells us ... "Sell in May and go away". Thereby avoiding the typical lackluster non-performance of the summer months.
Comments: John...if Facebook & Twitter is what gives meaning to your life....get a life my friend. (sarcastic here). Also, your thoughts on the market I think are coming to fruition. Neither John, nor I, would give investment advice, but you 401k folks might want to re-evaluate your current strategies.
Comments: Toni, I saw your comment on Facebook yesterday and was wondering what might have happened to run you off the site. I wonder how your debit card number is connected to Facebook? More importantly, now that you have abandoned those of us still on Facebook, what other arbitrary social index will you use in the future to confirm that your life truly has value? Aside from Facebook, the pickings are slim ...
Comments: Richard you are so right my friend! We don't have a "debit" cd for that very reason. You are giving a thief access to your entire checking acct!!! It is a real hassle, if you can even do it, to get all your money back from the bank! I'm only liable for a max of $50 on my cr cd & if you call immediately it's "0". Our cr cd # was use up in IND for thousands of dollars yet we had our cds in our pockets. We had zero liability & got a new cd within 24 hrs. Debit cds may be the "in thing" now days, but they are not the best choice for protecting your cash. |
