Comments: Ada, I have not been keeping up with the GB in a long while; however, I did go back several prior pages regarding the fraudulent use of your debit card. Sorry to hear about that. I guess all probably know this by now, but I have read several papers from internet fraud experts. They all say no mater what web site you visit, always delete your browsing history before you close your web. This also includes web sites that you do not have any personal I.D. info or banking info. I will be deleting my browsing history after I sign off the GB. They say a hacker can get into your browsing history and hack into every buy online web site and get personal credit card and banking info. Sorry all if this has been discussed, but hope it helps some of you who never delete your history. 6-5-10 IS GETTING CLOSE ! Sarah and I are excited to get to see all again after we missed the last one.
Comments: Hey Jim... Are you & Geneva going to make it June 5 to visit with us at he get-together?? Been a long time since we've seen ya'll.

We get together twice a yr for a little casual party & then of course our reunions. Thanks for sending me your add update & you will definitely be getting a 45th invite! t/w Speedy Harrison this mrng & he plans to attend our June party too!
Comments: Hello All. How time flies. Hope all are well, I've been blessed and am doing Great! I've been impressed that so many of our classmates are keeping in contact. I've seen other Classes sites (SOC & other schools) and It really seems exceptional. Maybe I'll come out for the next reunion.
Comments: Jack -- I drive up 408 to 35 to 121 Toll Road and get off at Custer Rd. My one daughter lives right off Custer near 380 and my other daughter lives off Virginia (farther away). I just find driving that way less stressful than 75. Most of the time I do not drive in heavy work traffic; I schedule my visits either between morning/afternoon traffic or we go up there on the weekend. Ada Ann -- When I was 54 I had a colonoscopy; the worst part is the STUFF I had to drink; it made me gag and the more I drank the worse it tasted; then the next WORST part is what the 1st stuff causes. I told my doctor I didn't want "twilight sleep" but to be knocked out and they did; the nurse had a hard time waking me up. Then Rudy and I went to LaMadeline and had lunch as I was starving. No soreness anywhere. Did anyone see the finale of LOST? I cried and cried. I've always "loved" Jack's character and while the end was bittersweet; it ended with Jack being with who I wanted him to be with.
Comments: Heard from Mike Dunn tonight regarding him going into the hospital this past Thursday due to concerns about his heart. Here is the brief msg he sent me. " Went into the hospital on Thursday morning and by that afternoon I had 5 stents placed in my heart. I was not aware that was a maximum amount of that dye they place in the heart to take pictures, but they had to stop before completion due to all of it they had used. I am still here as they are concerned about one of the major arteries on the back side of my heart that did not get fixed. Looks like they will medicate me for a few weeks and shortly they will go back in and hopefully complete the job. They will also check the arteries in my kidneys at the same time. I will hopefully get out of here on Tuesday if all goes well. Retirement may be closer than I anticipated!!!" Mike needs our prayers, as he's still in a precarious situation! He's still in the hospital & would only let him sit up for few minutes. Mike, our thoughts & prayers will be with you as you continue to get medical treatment.
Comments: Now we know why bankers are not well thought of!!! If he had truly canceled your debit card, removed it from the system & link to your acct. . . that wdn't hve happened! I'm so sorry, this is just a nightmare for you & Bruce!! I do hope he survives Monday . . .
Comments: So would you believe it if I told you that the Canadian scoundrel is on the take ONCE again??? After my debit card was cancelled and removed from my bank's system totally, they were able to hit us for the 13th time! I'm selling tickets for the show come Monday morning if anyone would like to attend...guaranteed to be a free-for-all!
Comments: Ada, I stand with you on this subject. My husband and I both had one after being nagged by our doctors for ten years. And both of us felt so great about finally getting this done and knowing that everything was OK. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be and the peace of mind you have afterwards is priceless.
Comments: That's great news, Kick A. And that's very good advice too. I will commit to do it this year and I hope everyone else does also. After all, we are worth it.
Comments: I have an announcement to make. I know that this is a topic that people do not like to discuss.....BUT, I had my first post-op colonoscopy and everything is fine! If you have never had a colonoscopy, please have one....you never know what will be found.
Comments: Toni, little Hudson is so cute and I love the shot of Graci licking his sweet face. I hope you gave you sweet hubby a great birthday present (wink, wink) and tell him I said Happy Birthday. I have been playing catch up at home and at work as Mike and I were in Odessa the first part of this week visiting his family and his old fellow police officers at the OPD. We had a great time but it is good to be home. |
