My thanks to everyone for a great day, today. Always good seeing my good buddies, Donald Millican, Sam and Sarah Smith, and Susan Sunde. Roy Goodloe and Larry Simon were great additions to our little table. AND, a big thanks for having our sweet Ada Ann at the get-together. Ada, you looked so good. You have such a beautiful spirit. We just wish that your sweet grandbaby could have been there. I love her more with each photo you post here and on Facebook. You are blessed with such a wonderful family, as are many others in our group. I always enjoy seeing our ol' classmates.

A really big thank you goes to those who dined out afterwards. This was Connie and my first time to join those eating out. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It was so refreshing, and a little naughty.

Thanks to all for a wonderful day fellowshipping. I know that I am blessed to have such wonderful people as fellow members of the SOC Class of 1966.

J.D., my friend. The group of us who went out to dinner after the get-together would like to sincerely thank you for paying for our meal. The filet mignon was perfect, the champaigne flowed like water. And, the perfect end to our meal -- Bourbon Bread Pudding -- was superb. Hope you enjoyed our phone messages thanking you.    We missed having you with us. And, a big thank you goes to Sandy McM for having your credit card information.

Tomorrow sounds like a lot of fun again for a fun Class.  Perhaps you would like to get together again over Labor Day with some of your other classmates from the past.  We would love to have you.  I know some of you have come in the past and would love to have more of you this year.

The SOC Class of 65 is planning their 45th Reunion and would cordially like to invite the classes that attended SOC with us to join in the fun and memories of our high school years.  You all were an important part of our life at school so please consider coming for a night or for the full event over Labor Day weekend this year.  You may go the www.soc65.com site to obtain details and registration information.  We hope many of you will be able to join us but we will need your information and registration soon.  If you have any questions, please hit the link at the bottom of the page on the site and a Committee Member would be glad to get back to you.

Don - thanks for the update on bro Doug.  Still praying for his full recovery from these drastic procedures & that they are successful.  What a great dad, made it to watch his kids walk across the stage, even though you know it was difficult for him!!!  Please let him know my thoughts & prayers are with him.

Glad to see so many are coming tmo for the party!!  Gng to hve lots of out-of-town classmatesAs a reminder, PLEASE bring your 40th reunion Name Tag as we'll have some new people & it sure helps if you wear them for at least the first 2 hrs!!!

See ya'll tmo 2 to 6 @ the Double Tree on Luna Rd!!!

Karen, did I miss something in the clean up?  I told Bruce those wine bottles were not candle holders but he assured me they were already on the kitchen table when we got there...lol  Oh well, I guess that's mistake No. 2...ha!ha!

SNL, have you or anyone else heard from Carol Carpenter lately?  I hope she and her mother are okay.

Did Rick run out of gas...we haven't heard anymore from him?  Linda P./Sandy Mc, you all should send out a search team!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sat.

Ada - I appreciate your offer to chaperon me during the mini.  But, I always have to be mindful that whatever goes on at the mini, never stays at the mini, thanks to cameras, g/b, chatter, etc., - not to menion, having to return home to face the 'War Dept'.

Doug has been home for about 3 weeks & is making a very slow recovery from intensive chemo & stem cell transplant.  He's just started eating small amounts of solid food as of this past week & can keep most of it down with the aid of anti-nausea meds.  He also dropped about 20 lbs.  He was barely able to attend his twins' high school graduation recently, but gutted it out til they walked across the stage & then had to go home.

Still too soon to know how well the procedure paid off, but soon as he's healthy enough, more tests will tell.  Thank you for asking - see you & the gang Sat!
