Place: Update on Susan Sunde Comments: Talked with Susan again this morning and she sounded great! Best I've heard her sound since this all started. She really likes this new Rehab place and they have been meeting with her yesterday and today to evaluate her and set up a rehab program. Goal is to get her able to to get in/out of bed and a chair on her own and start walking again so she can go home!! She can't wait to gt started so she can go home. It's been since mid-Aug LAST YEAR since she was home. Please keep her in your prayers for healing!
Place: Richardson Comments: Just talked with Susan and they believe the surgery was a success. She is in lots of pain but receiving pain medication. She is in a chair today and still in good spirits and hopeful she will get out of hospital in few days and on to Rehab. She has been away from home and in a hospital or rehab center since last August! She is so anxious to go home! She said to tell everyone who is praying for her that she appreciates it.
Place: Jamaica Beach, TX Comments: Thinking of Susan today and praying for a successful operation this time. So sorry to hear about Rick Mitchell losing his son. I definitely understand his pain and wish him comfort and healing. Don L. thank you for the beautiful tribute to our SOC military heroes who gave their all.
Place: Richardson Comments: Susan's 2nd surgery is this morning. Will try to reach Jake this evening to see how she is doing. If not able to reach him, I will try Susan tomorrow as she always answers her cell.

Place: Update on Susan Sunde Comments: Well, it's not good news. She had hip replacement surgery and then went back to a rehab facility. There seemed to be a problem with one leg shorter than the other. Finally took xrays earlier this week and the ball & joint aren't together! The ball is kinda just floating separately! I had been trying to reach her & LW so I called husband Jake and he gave me the bad news. She will have the 2nd surgery this Monday, 6-21. Please keep Susan in your prayers as she has been thru so much having to lie in bed in a rehab facility and wait more than 7 months to have surgery in the first place due to Covid and no beds. Now she's having 2nd surgery. She needs our prayers!
Place: Richardson Comments: Richard posted on FB that the fire close to his home was out! Now all that's left is smoldering embers and lots of smoke. Too close for comfort. Hope everyone has found a cool place and staying out of this terrible heat. Hopefully that rain forecast for us next week will happen and cool us down.
Place: Richardson Comments: Richard - After seeing your videos on FB of the fire you can clearly see right outside your patio, I think you're going to need more than a pail of water!! Please stay vigilant and be ready to leave if necessary. Hopefully those helos got it out.

Place: California Comments: I read your comments regarding Rick(y) Mitchell (I always knew him as Ricky). You're right about him being one of the good guys; he always has been, even in the "wilder" teen years. Good guy and family going some some real tough stuff. Regarding your electricity complaints....send us some water and we'll send over a few batteries. Seems like a fair deal. It's always somethin'.
