Randall and I are in shock and speechless at the loss of Richard.  May God rest his soul. May God be with his family, Ann and all those who know and cherished their friendship with this strong man, our friend.

Place: The Passing of Richard Nance

Comments:
It is with a broken heart and thru tears that I let you know our dear friend, Richard Nance, died today!  His brother Dennis is here in Dallas and isn't sure just yet if it was a heart attack or what as it just happened a few hours ago.  Please don't ask questions as we don't have answers right now. 

I, like many of you, am friends with Richard on FB so what I'm about to say is based on his posts. He was in Dallas last weekend to visit with Ann DelRegno Hoose for his 73rd B-day.  She went back to Calif with him and he and his 2 dtrs and their husbands and his G-kids and Ann all caught the train yesterday and went to San Diego.  Today Dennis called Jena, she called her sister Karen Hughes and Karen called me.

I'm very upset.  Karen promised to call me tomorrow with additional info which I will share with you. It's all very difficult right now as they are all in San Diego and this is totally unexpected!  May God Bless and comfort Richard's family and Ann as they have to all be in shock as I am right now.

According to notes from Sam, “I met Sarah on a Sunday afternoon in 1967 at Griff's Burgers on Buckner Blvd in Pleasant Grove” – and the rest is history.

Praying for Susan!  Gosh, she is a trooper and will get the PT at the Rehab facility to be going home SOON!  Susan, we love you!  

SNL - thank you for updating us on Susan and everyone.  It's as hot in Waller, TX (NW Houston) area, but not as hot as yesterday in NW area of US.

Place: Update on Susan Sunde

Comments:
Talked with Susan again this morning and she sounded great!  Best I've heard her sound since this all started.  She really likes this new Rehab place and they have been meeting with her yesterday and today to evaluate her and set up a rehab program.

Goal is to get her able to to get in/out of bed and a chair on her own and start walking again so she can go home!!  She can't wait to gt started so she can go home.  It's been since mid-Aug LAST YEAR since she was home.  Please keep her in your prayers for healing!

Just talked with Susan and they believe the surgery was a success.  She is in lots of pain but receiving pain medication.  She is in a chair today and still in good spirits and hopeful she will get out of hospital in few days and on to Rehab.

She has been away from home and in a hospital or rehab center since last August!  She is so anxious to go home!  She said to tell everyone who is praying for her that she appreciates it.

Thinking of Susan today and praying for a successful operation this time. So sorry to hear about Rick Mitchell losing his son. I definitely understand his pain and wish him comfort and healing. Don L. thank you for the beautiful tribute to our SOC military heroes who gave their all.

Susan's 2nd surgery is this morning.  Will try to reach Jake this evening to see how she is doing.  If not able to reach him, I will try Susan tomorrow as she always answers her cell.
