Place: Kerrville Comments: Thanks for the good wishes. Yes Bobby got a fire permit! Not quite finished celebrating. Coming to Sachse and then Sulphur Springs this weekend to celebrate with kids. Hopefully will go to our favorite Italian place not far from SNL! Rally enjoy their food.
Place: Richardson Comments: Don - it's always a good time to send out B-day wishes! We could all benefit from some happy news here and on FB. Been a lot to absorb and process this past week. Thank you for always remember us even when we sometimes forget. Best wishes to Shortcake and I don't know about the fire permit but, I did see where Bobby sent her some gorgeous flowers! She had a pic on FB.

Place: Sachse Comments: I too have been stunned by Richard's death. I so much enjoyed our "discussions". He was a good man. My heart goes out to Betty, Dennis, Darci, Brooke, Ann and his complete family. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
Place: Richardson Comments: We understand how you feel Don, we feel the same way. The news of Richard's passing has stunned most of us into silence. We are all in disbelief. I pray for his family and Ann as I know they are going thru a very horrible time. He will be missed so much, especially on FB, because of his quick wit and funny scenarios.
Place: LV, TX Comments: I'm very saddened by the loss of our classmate, Richard, as so many of you are. I checked the GB last night, but after seeing this, I just sat here like a critter in the headlights - couldn't think of anything to say. It wasn't that long ago that he surprised me with a Navy photo to include alongside his Sr. pic for the SOC '66 Vets slide-show. We exchanged a couple of e-mails about our service. He included a brief note of humor about his tour of duty that I'll share when our mood is ready for it. For now, I'll add my prayers for his family, Ann, and other close friends, with my sincere condolences ...

Place: Kerrville Comments: I have just opened the GB and read about Richard. I am so saddened by this news We have so enjoyed the conversations and his comments over the past few years. He will be so missed. We will keep his family and friends in our thoughts and in out prayers.
Place: Atlanta GA Comments: I am just heartsick about Richard and heartbroken for his daughters, sons-in-law, grandkids, and for Ann. Losing someone so suddenly is just so shocking and I think it makes the grieving process even more difficult. Peace for all of his loved ones as they look for answers and look for their way forward.
Place: Our friend Richard Nanace passed away Comments: Richard Nance passed away the afternoon of July 4th. Ann Hoose & his whole family were with him in San Diego for the weekend to see the Fireworks show. He collapsed and was gone within minutes. They believe it was a heart attack but, not confirmed yet, Monday was a holiday and nothing happened that day. His two dtrs posted a brief statement on Richard's FB page a short while ago. Ann or one of his two dtrs will post arrangements when they have them. There's not much else I can say, except I'm devastated and in shock. God please wrap your arms around his family and his sweet companion that had made him so happy in the last year or so . . . Ann Hoose. Everyone is in shock as this was so unexpected. |
