I am so excited about the upcoming party with Butch Arnold and Delores Arnold. They were great teachers who left a great influence on my life. Can hardly wait to see them. They were 2 of my favorite teachers.

SNL - Yes, your post was a sad double whammy - adding Richard to our 'In Memoriam' page and having to postpone the prospects of a mini due to the Delta variant flare-up, but understandable.

I suspect we'll need a 3rd vaccination to catch-up with this bug, for now - may become an annual shot, like flu.

I'm e-mailing you separately, re: Richard.

This morning, 7-25, I had to breakdown and post another name to our deceased list.  Not easy typing in a friends name.  At our 50th Reunion there were 82 names on our deceased list.  Today, I added # 106, our good friend Richard Nance.  It still breaks my heart thinking about it.

There won't be a big Mini Get-Together this year.  The coronavirus just won't go away and now the Delta variant is going strong. I will begin working an a big Get-Together for next Spring and will look forward to a long awaited celebration with all of you!  In January I will start looking for a place that will have us and see what I can do because I do miss everyone so much!

Cathy Wood Nickols, if you're out there checking in .  .  .  Hope you had a great B-day on the 23rd!  I don't believe you're on FB so we are thinking about you!  KMD is on FB and she did get lots of good wished too.  If you are looking-in Cathy, let us here from you.

Karen, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.  I know you and your RV group are all close and this is a horrible thing to find out.  Seems we are getting bad news more frequently, I guess being 70 + it should be expected.  I'm grateful for each day.

Thank you for another sad, but sobering reminder, Shortcake - that we should not take things for granted.  Things can and do change in an instant - then, the heartbreaks set-in.

The news of Richard was a shock and so sad for many of us.  I have friends here that were at a RV Rally in Utah.  He was going into his coach last night and fell.  He has a skull fracture and bleeding in his brain.  The family is taking him off of life support tonight. I am not telling you this because you know him!  I am telling you this because these two events have impressed on me the need to hold your family and friends close.  You can argue, you can not like something but at the end of the day you need to realize our relationships are fragile.  Throwing any of them away for any reason is just so sad.  God gave us his son and because of that he forgives. Remember that!
