Comments: Happy belated birthday and anniversaries to all those I have missed...sorry but have been busy and not always able to keep up. Retirement gets closer...WOW!!! My kids tell me that I may have to put a larger name tag on my forehead as many may not recognize me if I make it to the 45th. As of this morning I have lost 30.4 lbs. Have only 14.6 to go to meet my initial goal and 15 after that to meet my ultimate goal. My tailor loves me as I keep bringing in my long sleeved shirts to have them taken in...I have lost some 16 inches around my waist...and feel wonderful. My slacks I just send to Good Will and buy new ones as making them smaller would result in a one big back pocket...can't have that. So if you see this guy with a 4' X 4' sign pasted to his forehead...and can't recognize him...read the sign...it will probably say CHEESHEAD!!! Hope all are well and am looking forward to next year.

Comments: OK, details are finalized. We're going to meet for drinks & visiting with Mike Dunn on Aug 28 at Vernon's Grille!! It's conveniently located in Addison, TX just across the street (Montfort) from El Fenix. It's tucked away in the SE corner of Beltline & Montfort. If you're going down Beltline, heading East, go past El Fenix half a block & you'll see a strip-center on the right. Turn in at the La Madeline's & go straight down to the end & you'll see Vernon's. It's a cozy & friendly bar with a setting that reminds you of Cheers!! We'll have a few drinks & get to visit with an old classmate. Then we're going to drive across Montfort & have dinner at El Fenix. Everyone is welcome, if you don't remember Mike very well, come on out & get reacquainted!! I've posted the info on our EVENTS pg. Lots happening so all Events are in date order. We have a get-together with Mike Dunn on 8-28, the BMF Golf Tournament in honor of Brandon Fugate on 10-9 and the SOC '65 Reunion on 9-3 & 9-4! So read the Events pg to keep up with all the activities!!

Comments: It is with great excitement that the Reunion Committee is looking forward to our 45th Reunion in a couple of weeks. We are really pleased that classmates from several classes have decided to contribute to our fun and memories of the times gone by. Please, if it did seem to far in advance previously, it is not now. We have 2 weeks left, please get your reservations and money into the committee so we can get your name badges done. There is room for more so please do come. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. We have some members of your class coming. Among them is Smokey Kimbrough and his wife. He is heading up a Texas wide program for the Vietnam War Memorial Expansion in our capital. Won't you come and hear his program and visit with him? We hope to see as many of you as can make it.
