Because I have cancer and am receiving chemo I was allowed to get my Covid booster today. I have the Moderna version. It is such a relief to have that covered. I don’t know how you all view the current situation, but the Pharmacist who gave me the shot told me this will probably be a long drill…maybe requiring annual vax like the flu shot and probably resulting in new variants with which we will have to cope. For what it’s worth, the sooner everyone gets the vax, the better. Cheers. Paul

Wow, lots of B-days in Aug and the month is only half over!  Must have been a cold November and December to have so many Aug babies.  Happy B-day to each of these SOC friends and classmates!

May we all see another year and may we all outlast this darn coronavirus!!  I'm praying for a good Spring because right now things are on a downhill slide again.  Please, get vaccinated and protect yourself and everyone you come into contact with.  It's the only way we can stamp out this awful predator.  Be safe everyone!

Thanks for the well-wishes, Don. It is our 48th. We are indeed Covid-free but playing it VERY cautiously since, being on chemo, I am immuno-compromised. This isn’t over yet.

So sorry to hear about Sarah’s brother.  Condolences and keeping the family on our prayer list.

I have lost several close friends this past month.  Each one had a definite impact on our lives and it is still difficult to imagine life without them.  We need to take care of the friendships and family we have.  It seems like we are hearing of more and more illnesses and deaths lately. ❤️ Love to all of you.

 Our condolences to Sam and Sarah in the loss of her brother.  COVID has taken its toll on us all.  

Thank you Don L. for the picture sent to Richard Nance's daughters and families.  That will be cherished I am sure.  

I agree that Richard's passing was tough. Tough for all of us.   But, as Carol C. commented, we push on and through it.  We will treasure all of the memories of Richard.
