Comments: SNL/Gang - I'm back at work, but not yet online at home. Kathy & I regret that we'll also be among the missing for the mini this coming weekend. She's on antibiotics & other meds from something flu-like (or all the saw dust); I re-injured my back while shuffling household effects during the flooring project & had another epidural injection yesterday - only marginal relief so far. On the brighter side - the new porcelain tile, carpet & baseboards look great! Just need to regain our health, finish cleaning & getting re-settled. Very sorry to hear of more serious issues involving our classmates - Sue Powell's passing (Oliver gal & classmate), James Pulis' sister & Toni's stepson illnesses. Sending prayers for all.
Comments: Thanks Ada Ann! They seem to really be growing up quickly as of late. I can now better understand what they are saying & they have actually calmed down a lot! I think being in kindergarten has really helped. We love being with them!! For those of you outside of Texas, you may not understand the significance of the Texas Rangers being one game away from going to the World Series! It's never happened before! We've never even won an ALDS playoff series, much less gone to the ALCS playoffs! The DFW area restaurants & bars are packed even with them being on the road as the series is on TBS & some don't get that channel. Everyone is talking about the Rangers!! All I gotta say is "How 'bout them Rangers!!?? It's Time!!"
Comments: I've had a computer bug and now am up and running again. Bruce and Toni, Stephen and your family are in my prayers. Diabetes is a mean disease. SNL....all of the kids are adorable! They have grown so much. I know that Don and you are very proud of them!
Comments: Toni, prayers have gone up for Stephen and his family, including you and Bruce. I fervently pray that healing and blessings will come your way and that Stephen will be back home with his family very soon. We love you very much.
Comments: If you, like me, have been wondering where our Ms Toni has been lately . . . I'll fill you in. Heard from Toni tonight & it's not good news. She & Bruce have both been ill & Bruce was even hospitalized. He's doing better & just as Toni was getting better she got a flu shot. 3 days later she got the flu! But that 's not the worst of it. Toni's stepson, Stephen, was rushed by ambulance to the hospital late Sun night. He is suffering from complications due to his diabetes, and went into renal failure. He also suffered a brain aneurysm and is battling pancreatitis. He is in critical condition. Toni asked if our group could send up prayers for Stephen & to put him on any prayer list we can, as she is very worried he may not make it. He is only 39 & has a wife & small children. Toni, your stepson Stephen & his family will be in my prayers & I'm sure many others! We love you & will pray for him!
Comments: SNL, the triplets are getting so big. Not babies anymore. So cute! What do they think of Brooklyn? She is adorable. As of right now, I am planning on Saturday... but just so you want have to be alone with Jack. I bet Susan's coming. Was it not rumored that JD and Roe are coming? Not together!
Comments: Ever wonder what they teach in North Korean kindergarten? Never saw anything quite like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njG_dQC-cnk
Comments: Karen, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous. SNL, Von and I have to be at the ranch this weekend. We are working cattle and could only get real cowboy help that week. C-y'all next time. DWS
Comments: SNL, I have found that most boys are ambidextrous when it comes to eating. Mike and I are planning to come to the mini on Saturday but we will probably be a little late as we will be baby sitting our newly adopted grandsons for Mike's daughter and son-in-law till about 3 pm.
Comments: Honestly Richard, I'm not sure! They all use their right to print their names & sch work, but the two boys switch back & forth when they are here using crayons & eating. One bats left & other bats right. I'll pay more attention next time!
Comments: Being a lefty, I have to ask SNL; are two of the triplets left handed?...since they flashed a thumbs-up with left hands.
Comments: I 2nd that question Jack. So far the Fugates & KRL can't make it . . . How 'bout the rest of you??? Is anyone other than me & Jack planning to be there? Please, don't leave me alone with Jack!! If no one is interested we can cancel it!Thanks for all the comments regarding our 6-year-old Triplets. They are kinda cute aren't they! Lots of comments on FB. I post all the pics on FB, so if your a Friend you can take a peak.
Comments: Well, we've heard from a lot of people who are not going to be at the mini. Is anybody going to be there???
Comments: SNL, the triplets and Brooklyn are growing like weeds. They are getting so tall and Cuuuute! Sounds like you and Don had a great time. Linda P, I used to go to church camp at Lake Murray as a child, even was baptized in it. Really a pretty area and I loved going to camp. The Rangers did us proud tonight. You guys rock!!!
Comments: Thanks Linda, the triplets are growing so fast now days! As for April, when you grow up with two rowdy brothers the same age as you, I think it's called "survivor" mode! |
