My dear friend Mr. Hawkins...I love your ability to sniff out the truth...of course I didn't write that note on the GB...first...if the FBI ever came to my house they would want to take me in...not try and help me. 2nd, I canceled that CC long ago after I found a tab that had your name on it from a place called Loosey Ladies Skin Show. I just couldn't be part of ruining your marriage with your beautiful wife even though I first thought the charge was one of these home parties selling cosmetics...until I saw the extra charge for the Lap Dance #5...please explain some day...would like to know how it was. 3rd, I don't have the cash to pay off a $22,000 bill...that's why I retiring...I've decided to join the OBAMA EXPRESS and let OBAMA take care of me. And finally, I have lost 40 lbs now and wouldn't ever come down and rub your nose in it...because IT ain't there anymore.

So keep looking for the culprit and let me know.

Rick, I too listened to it late yesterday, twice!  I love Abbot & Costello & indeed that is one of the funniest routines ever done!

Thanks, Rick, for posting that link. They have always been my favorites and IMHO Who's on first is the funniest routine ever written or performed. I've heard it more times than I can count and still LMAO when I hear it again. Glynda gave me one of those sound cards with it and I listened till the batteries died.
We'll see if Pool Guy can improve his record by actually showing up at the mini. The golfers have started calling him "No show Joe" amongst other things.

So Mr. McGee, since your shadow is too busy to join us tmo . . . will I see you?

Well, our Rangers couldn't wrap it up Wed night.  But, we can do it tonight before the home crowd & shut those Yanks down!!  Please, dear Lord, don't let it rain out the game!!!  I can't take a double hitter tmo.  Heck, we'll have to either cancel the mini or have a huge Ranger watching party tmo at the Double Tree!!!

Don't forget . .  . our Get-Together is tmo at the Double Tree on Luna Rd!!  2:00 to 6:00pm!!  Hope to see you there!!!

Happy Jack Hawkins, good news, the Botox Boy is too busy to join us tomorrow. Now, we don't have to whisper when we talk about him. Do you feel warm and fuzzy as I do, knowing our tax dollars fund his check every month?
I'm moving to Mexico when Tin Cup Capps starts taking his check. I'm not paying that fool to sit on the front porch.

That 1st post claiming to be JD is proof that someone is using his name. JD would NEVER give up his miles or bonus program, much less deal with the FBI. And to say he'd teach at a college?  Not unless they have a girls 101 and BS course. We all know that if the real JD lost 35 Lbs. he would be down here prancing around rubbing my face in it!!! Case closed!!

s/w Toni earlier & her stepson, Stephen, is still in critical condition.  Stephen is the son of John Barnett, Toni's deceased husband.  He was only 5 when John & Toni married and she helped raise him.  She is very upset & worried about Stephen and spending lots of time at the hospital.  For those of you who have strong prayer groups - please add Stephen's name to the list! He & his family need all the prayers they can get.

J.D. - the virus you mentioned is a doozie. Just yesterday my brother-in-law in Conroe took the bait and opened the attachment thinking it was somehow connected to a legitimate UPS parcel.

In his case, immediately his virus control program identified the problem and set about eradicating the effects of it. Still, he is kicking himself for being duped.

Congrats on dropping the 35 lbs. That's a BIG DEAL!

The rest of you enjoy the mini. Dru and I are laying low and saving our pennies for an upcoming trip to Kerrville for the annual Texas Miata Roundup.

FYI

Felt  this worth passing along. With Christmas coming up, I can see where  this could be a real problem.

The newest  virus circulating is the UPS/Fed Ex Delivery Failure. You will  receive an e-mail from UPS/Fed Ex Service along with a packet  number. It will say that they were unable to deliver a package sent  to you on such-and-such a date. It then asks you to print out the  invoice copy
attached. DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE  VIRUS! Pass this warning on to all your  PC operators at work and home. This virus has caused Millions of dollars in  damage in the past few days.
Snopes confirms that it is  real.

I'm sorry to announce that my CC that has been in use, by multiple people, in Texas over the past two years...was not paid until last Friday. I had to actually shift money from savings to checking as the total was over $22,000. So I guess, since no one will send it back to me I am going to have to cancel the card and give up my flyer miles and bonus program for all purchases. Sorry guys...but  now the FBI is in charge of an investigation for fraudulent use of the CC. I gave them a list of names that had used the card over this time...Shortcake, Hawkins, SNL, Lincoln, Bovie, McGee, and to my surprise Ms McMakin! Hope all have answers for the FBI for the fraud you have committed...LOL.

Am sorry to hear about the lost classmates...Tank was a very nice guy...and Sue Powell was a very intelligent, quite and reserved person that seldom spoke...but I do remember her as being taller than me...but then again...everyone was taller than me back then. May God take them in his arms and embrace them as they enter his kingdom.

Am also pleased to hear that the BMF Project Golf Outing was such a success. Once retired, I plan to attend and then the 66er's won't lose to Buddy's overzealous crowd from 67...McGee is not as good as he professes as Bovie and I are better players.

Sorry I'm not going to make the mini as some of speculated but would like to know if Roe finally comes down off the farm and back to civilization to attend.

My daughter, Jena is now 3 mo PG and doing fine...they should know the sex next week as she has to go to Milwaukee for a more enhances scan due to her advanced age of 40 and being her first child...so we should know soon..but as her husband has only been able to produce girls to date...I would like for that trend to continue then we would have a granddaughter rather than another grandson...but then again I know he wants a boy so I guess I should pull for him...but really just want a healthy baby and mother when all is said and done.

Less than 80 working days left before I can go and teach part time at college...and take care of the house as I have promised Kathy.

Take care all...looking forward to retirement so I can come down anytime I want...and am looking forward to the 45th as a chance to show off my wonderfully new body shape...now down 35 lbs...and trying for 15 more...but coming off very grudgingly at this juncture.
