Comments: I'd like to thank the 15 people who didn't let the Storms, the Rap Music & Erie Events keep them from the Mini & bravely forged on to attend!! Sat will go down in history as being the most unusual mini we've ever had!!!   For those who didn't attend . . . I can't even begin to explain it here, you had to be there!!  The big announcement was regarding "Where" & "When" our 45th will be held!! The 45th Reunion will be Fri, Sept 30 & Sat, Oct 1, 2011 at the Double Tree Hotel in the SW corner of Central Expwy & Campbell Rd. in Richardson, TX!!! Now that we all know when & where, started marking your 2011 calendars & make plans to be there!! It will be a Rockin' Good Time!!! I promise!
Comments: Donnie, please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers as your mother recovers from surgery. Just wanted to take a few minutes to let everyone know how much your prayers for my stepson have meant to all of us. He is struggling but is fighting a good fight. Today he responded to our voices by moving his hands and feet which, for everything he has been through, is a major milestone. Continued prayers are so very appreciated. I am forever grateful.

Comments: Donnie and Barb, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Mother. Broken hips are awful, my Mom has broken both hips. Recovery takes a lot of Patience, Encouragement, Love and Prayers. Mike and I will pray that she is strong and has a speedy recovery.

Comments: I would like to ask our group for prayers for my mother, Early saturday morning she fell and broke her hip. surgery was done and she is now in hospital for a few days then to recovery. My mom is not a very good patient so pray for her recovery as well for our family to have the strength and patoence to get thru this.

Comments: Very sorry to hear of Mary's passing also. Nice obit - sounded like she could've been one of our favorite teachers. Prayers for her family.
Comments: I have some bad news for our group - another classmates has passed away! Mary Massad passed away on Wed, Oct 20. She lived & worked in Red Oak & was a history teacher there for the last 13 yrs. Suddenly we've lost 3 in about a month. Sue Powell on 9-15 (although we didn't find out about it until early Oct) Eddie Tankursley on 10-6 & now Mary on 10-20. Their is a very nice obit on Mary & the link is below. Comments: JD - Congratulations on your 40 lb weight loss -- that's some accomplishment. I'm trying to lose a little extra skin around my waistline and it's impossible. So, I'll just wear loose tops. SNL - I will not be able to come to the mini; a conflict of interest, but will enjoy looking at the pics. |
