Comments: Boy JD - you are on a roll today aren't you.....glad I am on your "good" side
Comments: BTW McGee...I'll bring my newly found 4-some down when they are old enough to kick your a** on the course even if Botox is your partner...besides that tennis ball he plays with is illegal...to much fuzz on the outside! RN...you should take Maryann up to northern CA to help McM carry Eli around next week...I think she's going to need help. I rented a forklift but if you've seen McM drive...I decided that was to dangerous...Eli might want to take over after he experiences Grandma's driving. If you don't believe her dangerous road history...ask Perkins...or ask the 145 cars that got tangled up last year on the freeway...she was right up front...and not understanding what had happened...she just went on to work...like the old people in Florida...crumpled trunk and all! Man...with two grandson's and one on the way...I'm energized...especially with only 49 working days to retirement. Have a great weekend everyone.
Comments: McMakin...like I said, I have a pair of dress shoes that are still in the box...never worn...would like to give to Eli...I know they are 10 1/2 D in size but I figure when he starts walking next week he might need them. BTW, our daughter found out today that the baby in incubation due in April is another boy...yea...3 grandsons...LOL. Can't wait!
Comments: Sandy Mc - Let's have an updated photo of Eli now - I'll bet he's grimmacing & protecting the jewels. Tommy - That's a heck of a new business idea & one that I hope really takes off - a takes a lot of them with it!
Comments: SandyMc: OUCH!!!!!!!!
Comments: Sandy that's a tough kid. I didn't walk for a year after circumcision.
Comments: So McMakin, I didn't have an exclusive??
Comments: Karen, thanks for sharing. I had not heard the song before. Really liked it. SNL, I have to admit that I sent Eli's picture out to many before it was posted. He was circumcised today and didn't even cry. He's a big boy! I will be holding him this time next week.
Comments: Got em from KMD yesterday & just got time to listen to it tda. It is a beautiful song & it's done well. I think most of you will enjoy it & hope KMD doesn't mind if I share the song she sent me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OExXItDyWEY
Comments: McMakin - Eli is so cute, why he's almost grown! His newborn pic looks like he's 3-4 mo old! Are you flying out next wk? I've got 3 more really cute G-one pics in queue so ea wk we'll hve a new one. Ya'll wake up & pay attention! Enjoy the beautiful sunshine!
Comments: Finally a positive note
on the economy...Things are looking up. A friend of mine just started his own business, making land mines that look like prayer mats. It’s doing quite well. His business is booming. He says prophets are going through the roof.
Comments: Sorry I couldn't upload the photo on the last post. It was a shot of 2 Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders standing one row in front of hubby and son. Couldn't figure out how to insert it correctly. Probably best since I wouldn't want to over excite any of our guys.
Comments: There was so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving season. From the birth of Sandy Mc's beautiful grandson Eli to the improved health of so many of our ill friends and family members, there was much to thank God for. ![]() We had 29 people in our home for Thanksgiving dinner, which we held on Friday instead of Thursday so hubby Mike and my son Adam could go see the Cowboys game on Thursday. In spite of the loss, Adam was happy with the great view from his seat. ![]()
Comments: Toni, What wonderful news about Stephen! He is a tough guy & he made it home for Thanksgiving!!! James Broughton, my bro-n-law, wasn't home by Thanksgiving. But, he was moved to rehab late Wed. On Thanksgiving he finally had all the tubes removed & as of Sat he was told there's a good chance he can go home tda or tmo! He can finish recuperating at home!! Don & I appreciate the many prayers sent by this grp!! We believe the worst is over & he can begin regaining his strength!
Comments: Sandra, little Eli is adorable. I know you must be so excited. I hope your daughter is doing well. Everyone have a great Thanksgiving? Our dinner was wonderful. My two grandsons finally graduated to the "dining room table". What a proud moment so we made a rather splashy toast to them! My stepson, Stephen, has been blessed with many Thanksgiving miracles! He managed to overcome all of the tubes he was connected to, progressed enough to even be transferred to a long-term facility last week. It didn't take him long to decide he wanted to be home by Thanksgiving. He was taken home on Wednesday night. He is undergoing dialysis three times a week, and is recuperating at home. Thanks so much for all your prayers and concern. We are hopeful he is finally on the road to recovery. For those of you who don't do Facebook, be sure to ask Shortcake about her Christmas tree!! |
