Comments: Don, Thank you for the update. It seems that with each good story we are getting a bad one at the same time. I think we are all on our knees alot.
Comments: I heard from David 'Doc' Mitchell a short while ago & he clarified the FB post Ada saw on 11/15 about his wife, Shirley, 'coming home today': "Don - thanks for asking about Shirley. She went in for a new pacemaker. Connecting the wires the Dr bruised a vein and caused it to bleed. They got it under control and came home yesterday. She is recovering now but with limited activity for a while. Sorry I didn't let everyone know as I wasn't home much. Thank you for your concern. She read your email and thanks you as well. In other news Ronnie Jobe (our singer from The Mystics) has lung cancer. He lives in Nashville now. We just went to see him last month. He didn't know at the time he was sick. Share with our class friends if you like. I don't get on the GB that much.
I assured him the SOC 'prayer bears' would include Shirley & Ron in their thoughts & prayers. I also updated him on other similar news involving our classmates & their families.
Comments: Sandy, will keep the prayers going for Donna and for Don's brother.

Comments: Heard from Jill, Donna RH's dtr, this mrng & Donna had double bypass surgery yesterday. She got thru the surgery w/o any complications & is on ventilator. Dr said they will try to see if can remove it tda. She & Donna thank you for your prayers & ask that they continue as she tries to recover. T/W Don agn last night & his bro James is starting to recover & they will try to get him up (& with lots of help)see if he can walk a few steps. Dr. is most concerned abt his heart. Will get results tda from the heart monitor info being recorded the last 24 hrs. Concerned might be a blocked artery. Thank you for your prayers & plse continue, as he is along way from being out of the woods or being able to go home.
Comments: H a p p y B i r t h d a y wishes go out to Everett Richardson & Tommy Barr, today (what’s left of it)! Guys – It’s getting late, but I might just squeeze under the wire. Hope you had a great one today with all the ‘guy stuff’ you could handle. Just remember these 3 ‘Man Rules’ (which were plastered across a t-shirt Kathy gave me on my b’day): 1. We don’t need any directions; 2. We’re not mind readers; & my favorite, 3. If there’s an itch, it will be scratched. Best wishes now & for many happy returns!

Comments: Heard from Frank Brick tda. He said after being in NC for many yrs they are moving back to TX!! They have had a house in Austin, TX for 12 yrs & they are finally going to get to live in it! Will move after Thanksgiving. He asked me to tell all his SOC friends hello & he will see us at the 45th!!
