Sandra -- Congratulations on the birth of Eli; how wonderful.  He was sure growing while in the "oven."  Send us pics when you get some.

Happy birthday, Larry Simons.  Hope that you had a wonderful day.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope everyone who is not feeling well gets better soon.
I have to say I don't feel sorry for you and your 80', we have 29' and light snow today, had about an inch of snow and some ice yesterday, which I like better than 80'. To watch the drivers around here you would think they've never seen snow or driven in it before. It is amazing to watch the so called 'cowboys' in their 4 wheel drives slide through an intersection thinking they can stop.
Happy Holidays to all of you  __  ROD

Eli Gaylen Panfalone was born at 9:14 a.m. this morning.  Weighting 9.2!!!
Labor was induced yesterday afternoon (after she left the doctor they went home and she  vacuumed, she IS her mother's daughter) and had lunch, then went to the hospital.  Around  5:00 a.m. she was given an epidural, later her blood pressure dropped. an emergency c-section was done.  She had planned a natural birth and was very upset when I talked with her. Hadn't seen the baby.
I just got off the phone with her and she is extremely happy.  She started feeling nauseated so we didn't talk long.
He's a doll...and doesn't look like a newborn!
Gran-mommy is very proud!

Wishing all a very thankful and positive Thanksgiving Holiday.

McM...good luck on the new grand-baby when it makes it...as we all know...children always have their own timetables. I was over 10 days late...explains alot I guess...but I turned out alright...at least...mostly alright!

RW...am not aware of the "Angels" project, but if you're helping people who are less fortunate that most of us...God Bless you.

BELATED H a p p y  B i t h d a y wishes go out to Larry Simons, for 11/21!  Larry – Very sorry for the late post.  Hope you enjoyed your big day & that Ramona spoiled you terribly with a day off from ‘honey-dos’, curb service for your favorite drinks during football, & forgiveness for all the male slippage (‘guy stuff’) during the year.  Best wishes for many happy returns!

Sandra -- I don't wear glasses anymore, remember (readers sometimes).  I just had alot to do and didn't get in a rush.  I haven't lost my car in a parking lot in a LONG time.

Ashley must be/feel really big.  I didn't think doctors made mistakes on due dates like that anymore.  Maybe baby will be born on Thanksgiving Day.

I'm not working (at work) tomorrow either; will be cooking, trimming bushes in front yard.

Rick - the angel tree is a wonderful community project to be done for the kids.  Congrats on your work with it.

SNL - I've been thinking about JFK since last week & recall standing at attention in ROTC class just before it was announced.  We broke formation & went to study hall.  Hard to believe it's been 47 yrs.  I forget about a lot more these days, but that memory will never leave me.

We're heading to Starks, LA, tomorrow to spend T-day with Kathy's family.  Best wishes to all for a happy & safe holiday.  It'll be another good day to give thanks for all our blessings, including the many SOC friends who stay in touch & pray for each other here.  Also, for remembering all our classmates whom we've lost.

This is my last day of work until Monday, taking vac tmo so can do all the prep work for Thur. Kids arrive tmo afternoon, can't wait!

I think we are slipping here on the GB.  Yesterday was the 47th anniversary of JFK's assassination here in Dallas . . .  and not a word about it on the GB!!!   I guess everyone is preoccupied.

In case I get busy & don't have ano chance to to say it . . .

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY SOC GB FRIENDS!!!  May we all remember the things we have to be thankful for & enjoy the day with family & friends!!!
