Happy Anniversary, Donnie and Barbara!  You two represent the gold standard of a happily married couple.  (I know you're not perfect, but you're darned close!)

Happy Anniversary Don and Barbara!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on 43 years together. For two people who didn't like each other to begin with, you guys did a good job of working it out.

43 yrs ago, Jan 12, 1968, two good friends got married.  They are still married today & they're still my friends!!  (Donnie - I bet if you'd known we'd still be friends more than 47 yrs later you'd have been nicer to me back in school!  )   Happy 43rd Anniversary today to Donnie & Barbara Fugate!! May you have many many more!!

They were the most joyful people I've ever met.  POW's are truly special people, to be honored forever.

Sometimes you get to meet people in life who walk with the angels.  Their Christianity speaks through them.  I think we are so lucky to have soldiers today who are just as great as these wonderful WWII veterans.

Annette, thanks for sharing your story. You are a special person to take the time to honor those people in the way that you did.

Happy Belated Birthday to David (Doc) and hope you had a "Good Time".

Tommy, prayers have gone out for you and your mom. We are thinking of you.

SNL, like Don L. said, as of now, either date in April sounds good, if life doesn't get in the way.

When I visited my son Tony in Tulsa, right after 9-11, I met this beautiful "young" couple while we were waiting to board the same plane in the Tulsa airport.  They impressed me so much I wrote about them on a napkin, and handed it to them as I got off the plane in Denver.

I while late I got this email.

Adding my prayers & best wishes for Tommy & his mom.

No snow down here in the TX hill country ... yet.  But, it's misting outside & the temp is falling.  Can't wait til 'rush hours'.

A mini always sounds great, til something else interferes at the last moment.  But, count me in as a strong possible/maybe.

JD - Congrats to the 'Cheez-Packers'!

well I'm back at work now. Four weeks  vacation is hard to take all at one time and be happy about returning to work.
But I enjoy work so I'm happy now, I'm in the groove

Speaking of minis - We're going to have one this yr since it is a reunion yr!  Let's have it in early April, say Saturday, April 9 or April 16?   Since the Reunion is set for  9-30 & 10-1, 2011 it will give us a mini & then Reunion abt 6 mo apart.  Any takers???
