Place: LV, TX Comments: Congrats, JD - Are you coming down to cheer them on, or are you snowed/iced in? It ought to be a good one - Cheezers vs. Towels! Unfortunately, our Boys will have to be spectators again this year. Gang - Thanks for your kind words regarding back pain relief. If it still hurts after Wed., I may have to consider a booze IV.
Place: Packer Land - Wisconsin Comments: 21 - 14 NFC Champions Dallas Bound
Thanks for the call JH, much appreciated...please share the property in AZ...we just might be interested...
Place: H-Town Comments: SNL and Don, wow guys, hope you both find some pain relief with your back. The whole back pain issue a major deal for our age group. So is self-realization. Finally at my age I've discovered what a major pain in the *** I am. Must be a slow learner. Has anyone tried using the Stability ball? My Greek doc tells me the worst thing in world for your back is sitting, but sitting on the ball is actually good for your core muscles.
Place: Texas Comments: SNL & Don - Hope that you get relief soon. Don, prayers that all goes well with your operation. JD -- how many more days b/f retirement?
Place: Calif. Comments: John, I think I knew Tondelayo; cute kid, purple eyes? Jack, I was for the other's; Meg and Carly. It seemed logical to me that corporate pros like those two could run this state a whole lot better than who was elected. However, Brown still made the right moves so far. I don't drink kool-aid....sugar and all that.
Place: The Woodlands, TX Comments: I recall envying Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown while he was dating Linda Ronstadt back in the late 1970's and I was having to spend my weekends with the likes of Tondelayo Breckenridge (Adamson girl).
Place: 66erville Comments: Just when you think California might be getting back on track, they up and elect Nancy, Boxer and Moonbeam AGAIN! That's OK Richard. You just keep on drinking the Kool-Aid and reading the NY papers. You'll always find stuff to your liking there.
Place: Calif. Comments: Nope, JD...nothing heavy. I'm just having a slow day and heard The Pres. might be coming to Dallas...maybe not.
Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: RN & JH...man could this be a heavy discussion...right now the IQ in DC has dropped 125 pts due to Obama staying home.
Place: Calif. Comments: By the by, I understand George the 1st (the smart Bush) and his group were in Austin this week. Interesting article here, especially the Cheney perspective (1st Gulf War): http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/21/us/politics/21bush.html?ref=us
Place: Calif. Comments: Jack, speaking of odd-balls. We have a new gov out here; Jerry Brown. Now this guy has always been a walking catastrophe (gov back in the 70's and a total left-winger). His first week in office, he actually made the right calls; cut welfare, cut spending, cut give-aways; and did extend some tax increases that Arnold put in place. I guess the good thing about being 72 is he's not going to avoid career-killing moves and might actually cure Calif. ills......we'll see.
Place: TEXAS Comments: Richard that may be true for California, but not for Texas. I only WISH Obama was HALF as smart as you people think he is. His only ability is to read a good speech, written by somebody else. I am surprised that you bought the media's spin on GWB's intelligence. Besides our "smartest" President (at least he wasn't a socialist) was probably the worse ever up to 2008. Now, we have a new winner!
Place: Calif. Comments: Jack, studies have shown that the average IQ in Texas rises considerably both when Obama is in Texas, and when Bush leaves. So, take heart.
Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: Jack, I will accept your support...regardless the reason. Winter is here today at -20 degrees as the actual temperature with -40 for the added wind chill. No matter what, it's cold.
Place: Garland Comments: I caught that Jack! Not! |
