Place: Richardson Comments: I t/w Karen Hughes few minutes ago. They are having Family Visitation at Laurel Land btwn 1:00 - 2:00pm on Thurs. Following, at 2:30, a graveside service for family. After the graveside service they will go to Presbyterian Village where her mom lived & had lots of friends & have a Memorial Service for the pople there.

Place: Icy Richardson Comments: Woke up this mrng to ice pellets hitting the windows! Sleeted for couple hrs & have abt 1-2" on the ground depending on how the wind stacked it up!!  JD - Wanted the Pack to feel at home in DFW, so we ordered them some ice & chilly weather!! It's 20* here w/wind chill of 3*. Real temp dropping tonight & tmo night down to single digits. But hey, Game day looks great w/sun & mid 50's. Gonna be a great game!!

Place: Bosque County, TX Comments: Sandy and all - thank you for your prayers and thoughts. My mother is in a better place and with my dad once again. There will be a short visitation at Laureland from 1-2 on Thursday and a graveside funeral at 2:30 for the family. We are having a memorial service that day at Grace Presbyterian Village at 4:00 p.m. Words don't come easily this morning - but please know I appreciate all of you guys and know you care. Karen

Place: Richardson Comments: Want to let ya'll know Karen Pearson Hughes Mom passed away last night. Her funeral will be at Laurel Land at 1:00pm on Thursday, Feb 3. I don't have any other details as I just got word tonight. I'll look for the obit & let you know when I find it. Karen & Jimmie, you will be in my thoughts & prayers as you go thru this difficult time.
Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: Well, well, well...the ruling on Obama Care is that it is Unconstitutional...according to the Florida U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson who heard the lawsuit by the 26 States that claimed the government can not force any American to purchase anything. Man...the progressives, liberals, and socialists in our government must be pulling their hair out...now, off to the Supreme Court. Thank God for this.
Place: LV, TX Comments: Hi Gang - Thanks for all the kind words. I can't sit for long & need to take short walks frequently. I'm still in pain, but at the moment, Percoset has it in a temporary strangle-hold - later.

 It will be worth it in the end. We need you fully recovered by the reunion so we won't feel bad harassing you as usual. 
Place: 66erville Comments: Happy Birthday to Rick. Happy Anniversary to my brother by a different mother, Jerry and his lovely wife Joyce. I think I remember being at that happy event. Seems allot of great food and beer were consumed. Coasty Don, I hope getting around gets easier soon, the pain goes away and no more back and leg problems. Shortcake, with promises like that, I'd say I think they have great doctors, hospitals and rehab in Houston!
Place: Richardson Comments: Shortcake, I know you'd like to find ano alternative to surgery, but you gotta get something done with your bum knee. It's been a yr & you don't want to be sitting on the sidelines when we have our Reunion & the music starts!! If you have the surgery here in the Dls area & recoup here ... I promise I'll come see you & bring you food, booze or whatever your little heart desires!!  I couldl ck with the Omni & see if our Studmuffin is still available!  Speaking of surgeries, our Coasty Don is going thru a rough time. In pain & very sore & having to try to walk. I bet some funny cards & encouraging words would brighten his day! His address is correct in our Dir! Rickypoo, are you still recovering from your BD bash!!??
