Karen,
That was one of the best things I have seen in the news EVER!  Thank you for posting it.  Everyone was really enjoying the stories and the end result of the work. I sure enjoyed hearing about it.

I'm back!!!  Tech from PC House Call left few min ago.  Matt was great.  He know immediately what the problem was . . .  my new HP Printer!!  You see, the new printer, (which also faxes & scans) has an SD card slot.  My pc is more than 5 yrs old & it doesn't have an option that allows me to keep pc from reading the SD slot on the printer.  Therefore, pc is trying to read it instead of the string it's supposed to in order to fully boot-up.  He sd newer pc's have an option you can select so it won't do that.  Simple solution - make sure my printer is turned off before I turn on pc! Then I can turn it on.  He also fixed several other problems I'd been having & my pc now runs as good as new!!  PC House Call is a good company we've used before, reasonable charges too.  They're just down the st from Jack in Richardson!

Hi Guys. In the previous post I made, there is a link to a news article and (if you scroll down in the article) there is a video of an interview with senior citizens featuring my Dad, John Melton. He is the one in the bright yellow pullover. The feature aired today on local CBS channel 11 news. It is about how scrapbooking can preserve memories and a volunteer group from Eastfield College helped the residents at Christian Care Center to do this. There is even a shot of me in a photo with my Dad holding me as a toddler. Thought I would share this with you all.

JD, I have always been fearful when I was in a room with those two ladies. But now I know their weakness. All I have to do is carry a blender/pitcher with me. That'll confuse or panic them enough to forget about me.
Look forward to seeing you there, Barbara!!

Mr. Hawkins, if I were you...I would be very careful about what & how you say things about SNL & Ms McM...these two are lethal women. Especially Ms McM...she is a very strong (physically) woman. And if you don't believe me go and take another look at her grandson Eli...he is only 3 or 4 months old and weighs a ton. Not only can she lift him but she can throw him in the air and catch him just for kicks...to you and me she can do much much more...and I don't want to see you get hurt...lol!!!

As Dale might say; 2 more examples why women should not be allowed to operate machinery. But it does explain why they smell like berrys!

Sandy Mc, did you have eggs in the mix ? If you did then you would have "egg on your face" Personally I thing SNL's blender story wins but both are funny (but I'm not laughing, HONEST! )

Happy Birthday, Rosemary! Sandy Mc, it's H I Holland. So in your way of thinking it would be OK to rename SOC John Wylie Price in South Oak Cliff??  I just don't know why everything has to be named after somebody. This is a true story was on the news last week: They are building a new city public administration building, I think it is in MN.There is a movement to name the center after a man who served as Mayor for many terms in the 40s and 50s. Some say he was the best Mayor the city ever had as the city enjoyed great growth during his terms. If this movement wins, the building will be called the Harry Baalls Service Center.
