Toni, that picture of Hudson made me laugh too and I added Elmo Fizzies to my grocery list so I could have as much fun as he was having. To everyone that came out last night for Guns n' Hoses and to support the BMF project - ya'll are great - speaking for Guns n' Hoses I can assure you that we appreciate everyones support and I know that Barb was thrilled to see everyone. The food ws absolutely fantastic - and you are right Karen the dessert was great - I had to fight Cubby for mine!!!!! lol  WE will have to do that again - soon!See ya later.

The volunteers were sincerely thrilled with the stories. What a wonderful tribute to you parent's lives, their love, and their history. Through our stories we give meaning to our lives and those of our future generations. God bless you for sharing this joyful event with us!

Sorry I could not be there...I've been dealing with something like SNL had a few weeks ago. I am feeling just a little bit better but not completely well. Place: LV, TX Comments: KMD - Great video clip featuring your dad & others - thanks for the link. I hope to be nearly as alert if I manage to reach anything close to his age. It's a good reminder for all of us to get photos & memories in order, while we still remember who, what, when, where & why. I have many of my folks old photos & letters, but wish I'd gotten them to elaborate more about other family details while they were still here.

Place: Sachse Comments: Thanks to all here on the GB and on Facebook for the nice comments about my dear old Dad's TV debut. It was a great thing they did for the residents and they all thoroughly enjoyed participating and offering up great "stories." JD, I think we were all toddlers at one time. Mike and I just got back from BJ's in Mesquite where many of us congregated to support the BMF Project and Guns and Hoses. The food was outstanding and many thanks to Barb for topping it all off with that heavenly dessert. You and Donnie are the best.
