Happy Birthday, Rosemary! Sandy Mc, it's H I Holland. So in your way of thinking it would be OK to rename SOC John Wylie Price in South Oak Cliff??  I just don't know why everything has to be named after somebody. This is a true story was on the news last week: They are building a new city public administration building, I think it is in MN.There is a movement to name the center after a man who served as Mayor for many terms in the 40s and 50s. Some say he was the best Mayor the city ever had as the city enjoyed great growth during his terms. If this movement wins, the building will be called the Harry Baalls Service Center.

FYI - Yesterday afternoon my pc wouldn't boot up!!! I'm without a pc tda & until i can get someone out here to fix it! Call if it's important or need answer quick.  I'm using someone else's pc for  few minutes to post note.

Mr. Holland is deceased.  Thank you Toni for the info provided.  Lisbon is still in the name of the school.   (Forgot his initials)  blank, blank, Holland School at Lisbon. Apparently it was thought over before doing so.

Since you guys were discussing schools, I looked up Clinton P Russell, which is where I went.  It says it covers grades 4-5...only two levels.  Seems odd, though the school gets a 9 out of 10 rating overall.

We have 3 activities coming up, 1) The BMF Search & Rescue/Guns & Hoses Charity dinner on Tue, 2-22.  2) Our mini get-together on April 16th.  3) Our 45th Reunion on 9-30 & 10-1.

Sandy Mc - About 15 yrs ago I was making strawberry malts for Don & I.  I stirred the malted in & put the lid on, forgetting to remove the spoon!   The blenlder was glass, not plastic!!  When I hit "Blend" I can't tell you the awful sound it made as the glass shattered & the spoon, strwberries & milk flew all over me, the floor, ceiling, curtains, cabinets.  The entire kitchen was pink, not to mention the glass everywhere.  We spent the rest of the night cleaning up the mess.  For weeks I found pieces of strawberries hidden in spots everywhere!!  To this day when I turn on a blender, I close my eyes & prepare to duck!
