Place: Garland Comments: Hi everyone - looks like you had a really great time Sat....sorry I had to miss it but for once I did what my Dr. told me to do and stayed at home with my knee up and my bell in my hand!!!!!
Place: Bear Creek Golf Comments: Well, folks it finally happened. I am here to tell you because I saw it happen. Pool Guy FINALLY WON a hole. Judging from the looks on the faces around the room, I could not tell who was more surprised, Sandy Joe or everybody else. It was a great time riding with Mr. Dagley. We covered a lot of ground and times. Thanks to Gary I again remembered things forgotten and how good a childhood I had. The wind has quite an experience. It may have helped my game as I spent less time in the rough, a little time in the sand (3 traps on ONE hole) and almost no time in the water. Score came out about the same as usual, but i played from different places. Beautiful day with great friends!
Place: Richardson Comments: Bluebonnets were up for about 1 yr. I took them down about 2 weeks ago. If some of you wd like them back, say so & I'll put 'em bk after I get the names put on all the mini pics. I got the mini pics sized & up, now gotta label tonight.
Place: Garland Comments: SNL....what happened to the bluebonnet pictures you once posted on our website? I told Ada she could get her "fix" for bluebonnets...and now I can't find them! And no, I'm not accepting any more furniture from anyone!

Place: Garland Comments: Sandy, it was great cheese sausage thanks to JD and his generosity and I will be glad to get the leftovers for Susan's BD part weekend after next. Don and I had a great time at the mini and afterwards. It was a great day!!

Place: Richardson Comments: JD- I didn't eat any cheese. Waaay too much fat & cholesterol for me! I only eat fat free cheese. I didn't know there was sausage, by the time I greeted the guest & found the table . . . the sausage was gone. The T-shirt was funny & looked so cute drapped over Jack's shoulders. I got a pic of it.
Place: Don't ever know Comments: I have two true Gold and White SOC friends  You guys are the best     There "is" cheese left over and if anyone wants some please let me know...i will get it to you. Barbara, when is the party for your sister? Don't mind driving to Garland.
Place: 66erville Comments: Thanks, just the same, JD, but don't send the sausage. I'm not suppose to eat it (much). Say was any of the cheese stinky?? Now I didn't notice it until Bovie showed up, so it may have been his after shave.
Place: nh Comments: J.D., I wasn't there, so I won't thank you for the cheese and sausage. I know that it must have been enjoyable. Lonnie, the video posted on FB is wonderful....nice to see all of the faces.
Place: Sachse Comments: JD, I would have thanked you for the cheese and sausage but when we got there at 3 pm, there wasn't any so I did not realize you had sent some. It must have been great to be gone so quickly. So thanks anyway.
Place: 77 WISCONSIN Comments: First, I want to thank Ms McMakin for being the delivery person for the Wisconsin cheese and sausage package...since I couldn't make it to the mini due to the potential delivery of our 3rd Grandson (still waiting) I felt compelled to at least send something that I thought everyone might enjoy...obviously not enough sausage...Jack, I'll send you a personal package and make sure there is sausage for your tasting pleasure. The shirt was not an afterthought...I've had it for over a year. And yes, the cows in Wisconsin tip over much easier due to the amount of Brandy on the Rocks they drink each day before they give their milk to the farmers. Hope you can wear it around your grandchildren as they will then wonder about your friends and be concerned if they have anything between their ears...which most of us don't, i.e., Mr. McGoo...LOL Sorry I couldn't make it but will be there for the Reunion (God Willing) and planning on coming early enough so we can get usual suspects out for a round of golf... Glad everyone had a good time.
Place: 66erville Comments: Had a great time at the gathering, Saturday. It was good to see all who were able to join us. Missed those who could not. Thanks for the shirt, JD. I guess no cow tips like a Wisconsin cow, HUH? The cheeses were good too. Sandy Mc provided crackers that went with the cheese very well. I heard that there was sausage too, but I never saw it. You think Sandy Mc handed it out sparingly? Note to Jerry Tillery: I told the bartender to add Gentleman Jack to his stock before the reunion or lose a lot of business. |
Sad thing is - we still have one more knee to go! I go to the Dr. tomorrow for him to check the surgery and decide what we are going to do with the right knee. Will let you know.
