A very merry Christmas everyone. May the Child whose birth we celebrate be allowed to encourage more civility in our world in 2022. We NEED it.

Merry Christmas Jack and all my other '66 classmates.  Jack summed it up nicely, may we all be safe and may next year be kinder to us all.  Love to all my great friends on this warm & summery Christmas Eve in Texas!

Thank you Jack, Carol & Paul for the b-day  wishes.  Good friends like y'all are hard to come by.  A special thanks to Paul for still envisioning us as we were in high school.  That's fine with me! [smile]

Hey, Merry Christmas everyone!  May we all be safe and let's pray 2022 is much better than our previous 2 yrs!  I want to see everyone and soon, so let's tell covid goodbye on 12-31 & kick it out the door!  Now, must get dressed as busy today & tomorrow.  Cooking cakes & pies and getting ready for a wonderful day at my brothers house. Love to all, until we meet again.

Happy Birthday ๐ŸŽ‚ Sandy and Jerry. Since I havenโ€™t seen many of you since graduation, I find it hard to comprehend that your yearbook pictures arenโ€™t what you look like today. You are still teenagers in my mind. ๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿฝ Too bad my mind never grew up. ๐Ÿ‘ถ. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Thank you Jerry & Toni for the b-day wishes & you're welcome on the other!  You know you're getting old when . . .  you have to use your fingers to figure out if you are turning 74 or 75! [eek]

I also want to wish my longtime friend and fellow b-day partner, Jerry Tillery, a very happy 74th B-day!!  May you're day be filled with happiness and that wonderful family of yours!  Here's to another year for both of us Jerry.

It is always so sad to learn of fellow classmates and Fredโ€™s passing is another sign that weโ€™re getting on up there. Prayers to all the families as they go forward without their loved ones.
On a brighter note, Iโ€™m wishing the twins, Sandy and Jerry, a very happy birthday. I hope your day is special in every way!!
Sandy, I wholeheartedly agree with Jerry about the way you have kept the SOC 66ers together! Thank you for all you do to bring us together!
Merry Christmas to everyone. Safe travels to all during this very strange season. Love to all! โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ

I do not post as often as I used to here, but I do check the Guest Book most every week. My condolences to all the recent  passings of our fellow classmates.  Unfortunatley we are all getting older and that is going to continue.

Congrats to the SOC football team on thier state championship.

Finally and most important, a Happy Birthday to my twin, Sandy on our big day.  May we hve many more.   A sincere thank you for all that you have done over the years to provide a place where the Class of '66 can keep up with each other .  I know I am not alone in appreciating the work that you do.

Less than a week ago we posted about the passing of Jeannette Stokey Strickling.  Today, I must post another sad announcement. I found out tonight that Fred Hulan Meier III has passed away.  I received a Christmas card from Patty, his wife, letting me know he had passed away from colon cancer, which he had been battling for a number of years.

Last time I saw them was at the 50th.  Patty included the program from his services and he passed on March 26, 2021.  He was buried at the DFW National Cemetery. He was in the army during Vietnam and retired from IBM after 39 yrs with them.  Fred & Patty were such a nice couple and I'm very sad to learn of his passing but, grateful to Patty for letting me know.  RIP Fred.

Even though I made NO contribution to this epic win, I could not be more proud. What a great reminder for us 66ers of the great place we came from. My heart is still sitting on top of the trophy case. โค๏ธ๐Ÿซ€๐Ÿ†
