Place: Carthage, TX Comments: Thanks for the Anniversary congrats. Sure has been a quick 39 years. Jack - You are correct about Ark & East Texas being alike in their marital mores. If you get a divorce in Ark I think you are still Brother and Sister.
Place: Still a blushing bride Comments: Well thank you Don L. and Sheryl. It's actually 2 years, not three. Ironically, hubby Mike made the same mistake and asked me "Are you sure?...cause it sure feels like 3 years."  (Not quite sure how to take that...lol). The Mavs gave us our best anniversary gift of all last night with a third takedown of the Lakers in the 4 best of 7 playoff series. Go Mavs!

Place: LV, TX Comments: H a p p y 39th A n n i v e r s a r y !!! to James & Geneva Young, today, 1972! Last year, Jim said: “Karen and Mike - Congrats. Geneva and I celebrated 37 years of marriage on May 6th of this year.”
H a p p y 3rd A n n i v e r s a r y !!! to Mike & Karen Davis, also today, 2009! Karen said: “Mike and I tied the knot on Wednesday, May 6th. Mike's friend, a Rockwall County judge and part-time minister, married us at the Rockwall County Courthouse.”
Major congrats to all you love-birds and best wishes for many more!

Place: 66erville Comments: Well of course they weren't your cousins, Jim. They weren't mine either. This ain't Arkansas, but now you've got me wondering about east Texas. As I said, my cousins are years younger. I wonder if the one that stood me up was going out with you!

Place: 66erville Comments: You hit the nail on the head, again, Coasty Don. Maybe they have been drinking their left over stash of Old English cologne from SOC. Fear not, Professor and Westcoaster, there is no story herein or to follow. Just a clarification that while I may have, allegedly, dated some Kimball girls. And my, few years younger cousins, went to Kimball, I have NO, past or present, knowledge, of any sort, of Masha Fergusson!
Place: Big R Comments: So now that the one knee is doing better you're going to have a knee replacement on the other knee!!?? Shortcake, get this done NOW & get to rehab quick. At the end of this month the Reunion will only be 4 months away!! It'll be difficult for you to dance to Danny & The Jr's "At The Hop" with a bum knee!! So hurry up & get better.  Hope everyone is working on their FRi Night SOC Hop ensemble for the Reunion. Don & I are & it's coming along nicely.
