Place: Baby's Are Us Comments: Our son Scott and wife Carrie added a beautiful 8lb. 1oz. baby girl to the clan this week. Madeleine Kate has a head full of black hair and dimples. She has been warned by PaPaw that no nasty boys with the last name of Capps, Browning, Medlin, Fugate, Hawkins, or Dagley are allowed on the front porch. One does not know where these outlaws have traveled, and who might share their last name. A loaded shotgun will be close by.

I am so sad about our high school...I have taught there for many years, and I can' t believe I will never teach there again (I will retire before the school will be rebuilt). joplin is getting so much help from all over...iit makes me so proud of our country...we are not alone! Quite a change from watching the terrible news in AL & MS a few weeks ago, then MO & OK this past week, and becoming the news this week. All clear down this way, except for some thunderstorms & hail.
