Place: Texas Comments: Got my packet; just hope that I don't forget where I put it. My kids are out of the house, although in the past they have come back. It's even seemed like a revolving door; I always keep a bedroom and closet available.
Place: Richardson Comments: They were actually finished & mailed Thur. Most in the DFW area got theirs yesterday. I got the first registration form & ck hand delivered tda! Don & I were taking a coffee break in the front yard as we'd been working for hours on new flower beds. KMD pulled up & personally handed it to me. If you haven't looked at the EVENTS pg in a day or so, please do. You can book a room at the Double Tree directly from our EVENTS pg. Just click on the photo of the hotel. It takes you directly to a special site I set up in conjunction with the hotel for booking on-line. Grab your credit card & book your room! It's only $79 a night.
Place: Carthage, TX Comments: Sandy - FYI - The registration packet made it all the way to the East Coast of Texas. That would be the Sabine River in Panola County, TX.
Place: LV, TX Comments: SNL - I also rcvd my 45th reunion invitation today. I thought you said they'd be mailed today, but maybe some went out yesterday. I know the USPS couldn't possibly pick-up & deliver on the same day, even if across town. Many thanks to you & the committee, plus drafted members, like your Don, for getting us cranked up for another great one!
Place: LV, TX Comments: Sandy & Linda - Major congrats to you on your young ladies' graduation! Gotta love those moments. On the other hand, does this mean 'empty nest' for y'all or were they out on their own already? Either way, it's a great adjustment for everyone, so just glide on your pride!
Place: Texas Comments: Thanks for the congrats on my daughter graduating from law school yesterday. It was a wonderful day for her and her sisters were there to celebrate with her. I know how proud Sandra is of Courtney and the pics taken at her graduation are so beautiful.
Place: 66 Wisconsin Comments: Kathy & I took a vacation to AZ...couldn't take the 40 degree temps anymore, besides we were invited to the wedding for the oldest son of the owners of the Cheese Castle...where the Cheese and Sausage came from that all ate at the last Mini. Then to top it off, we were honored to have Don & Barb Fugate join us for dinner. And, as usual...Don ate the entire menu. Really...the entire menu..but I'm sure the paper the menu was printed on did not sit well in his stomach. The time spent together was really great...sorry Mr. Nance could not join us. Don, maybe we can get him to make the trip in October when Kathy and I return... Congrats to all anniversaries and BD's. And high school & college graduations.
Place: Sachse Comments: Congratulations to Sandra and Linda on their daughters' college graduation today. That's a great accomplishment and I know you both are proud. My granddaughter Allie graduates from high school in a couple of weeks in Frisco. SNL, I received my reunion info in the mail today. I will get that back in the mail to you very soon. I was really sweating the name badge as I thought I had discarded it after I got remarried a couple of years ago. Luckily I found it in a drawer so I will send it to you. It looks a little melted (wavy) but I need a new name anyway. Looking forward to seeing as many as possible at the reunion which is only about 4 1/2 months from now. Y'all come!
Place: Richardson Comments: Congratulations to Sandra McMakin & Linda Perkins on the graduation from college of their youngest daughters!! Fri the 13th is a very good day for ya'll as well as each of your dtrs!!
Place: Desoto Comments: Happy belated birthdays and anniversaries ![]() Linda and I both have our youngest daughters graduating tomorrow Both very proud momma's![]() ![]()
Place: Richardson Comments: I want to say Thanks to those who have returned their name badges from the 40th!! I'm still getting some in the mail each week. So here's the deal . . . When you mail me your Reunion Registration form & enclose your check, PLEASE also enclose your name badge!! Regarding Name Badges From Our 40th I did a test. I put a registration form & check in an envelope. I then added my badge & weighed the contents. It comes in just under 1 oz. It will not cost you any extra to enclose your badge! If you are enclosing two badges, you & spouse, you will need to add an additional stamp. It will cost you 17 cents for the add'l stamp. I'm asking everyone who hasn't already returned their Name Badge to do so with your Reunion Registration form. Please! Thank You, Sandy Lynn
