Place: Richardson Comments: A Sheryl Smith Weston sent an updated info page from our site saying she found her name on the Missing list. Sherry sent her info and I'll gladly remove her name, another bear has found us and isn't missing anymore. It was a perfect morning for a SOC Parade in downtown Dallas! Hopefully it will be on the 10pm news tonight. Maybe someone went to it & posted pics on FB?! I'm going to check now.
Place: Edmond Comments: It is South Oak Cliff Day yโall. You know it; you tell the story; tell the WHOLE WIDE WORLD this is BEAR TERRITORY. Go Bears.
Place: Richardson Comments: Well, we're back with another Arctic freeze since last night. 28 degrees this morning with a hefty N. wind. Cold, windy & no sun thru Saturday. Sunday looks promising. After 2 and a half weeks of being sick due to all the darn pollen in the air, finally Monday I got up and felt good. I immediately made out a grocery list and went the store. Bought enough for 6 to 7 days. As long as we don't loose power, I can take the cold. Lit fireplace this morning, felt so good! For those not on FB, Linda & Rudy Rich have covid. They are both vaccinated and had booster. But, she believes they got exposed at Sunday School on Sunday because they were fine until Monday morning and started feeling really bad. They are talking with their Dr and at home.
Place: Waller, TX Comments: I am checking in! All is well in wide-awake, windy Waller! Doing home repairs when its warm (above 60 degress....LOL!)! And today it will be in the 70's - yea! Yet, Karen and Mike Davis (Galveston) probably will have temps in the 80's today. We started the year off great with good friends - Karen and Mike. Had a great time! January is busy with projects, etc. God is good...all the time. Please stay safe and warm!
Place: Richardson Comments: Wishing Donnie & Barbara Fugate a very happy 54th Anniversary! May God bless you with many more years together. I've know y'all forever and I can remember when we thought just being 54 was old . . . much less being married that long!! Love and best wishes always!
Place: Dreary Day in Richardson Comments: There's one more thing I wanted to say in honor of Betty White. For being a friend. Down the road and back again.
Place: Dreary in Richardson Comments: As we watch thru our windows at another overcast, morning fog and drizzly day, I count the hours until we see sunshine again. I've been sick since 12-30-21. No, not covid, just terrible allergies and feeling bad due to all the pollen in the air around our neighborhood. This is the 11th day, hoping tomorrow will be a breakthrough and I'll feel like doing something. I didn't leave the house for 8 days but it persists. If it wasn't for the fact I've had these bad winter allergies since my early 20s, I would have probably thought I might have covid. But I don't. Was very glad to see Sammy's post saying he's home from hospital and he & Sarah are doing better in their battle to get over covid. Take care Sammy & Sarah, hope you both are much better soon!
Place: Carrollton Comments: I made it, I think.
Place: Lake Firk Comments: Hello all. Well, Sarah and I joined the rank and file of the Covid. Team. I just got home from 4 days in UT Southwestern Dallas while Sarah recouped at home. This has really kicked our butts. Have to be quarantined for another 5 days. Prayers to all who are affected.
Place: Melissa TX USA Comments: Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. This is a strange birthday year that Iโll remember for years to come for many reasons. My son and his family are quarantined because all their sons have Covid! Iโm hopeful they wonโt be out for very long. Everyone stay safe and warm. Hopefully, a mini reunion will be manageable soon.
Place: Sachse Comments: Happy Birthday, Toni! Have a great day.
Place: Richardson Comments: Wishing my "parking lot in-car lunch buddy" a very Happy B-day!! If it weren't for those crazy parking lot lunches I would have gone crazy! With the way this covid thing is going . . . we may have to revert back to that! Happy Happy B-day Toni, cheers to our usual.
Place: Kerrville Comments: Happy birthday Toni. ๐๐๐พ๐๐
Place: Dallas Comments: Let's plan a mini asap! We never know how much time we'll have to reunite!!
Place: Edmond Comments: I wish you a very HNHNY AAHW. |
