Place: Recliner Comments: Biopsy went well this morning. Prep time was 50 minutes and the procedure was 10. No pressure, discomfort or pain. Happy birthday Sir Jackson. If you party too much tonight don't forget to put your sweet one outside and kiss your cat before you collapse on the couch.
Place: The Woodlands Comments: Let me join the others in issuing Birthday Greetings to the youthful (relatively speaking) Jack Hawkins. And, Sandy Lynn, I'm glad to hear you got your A/C repaired a bit earlier than predicted. It seems like they always fail during the hottest weather. As a kid on Calcutta Drive we had central heat but did not have central air. My room was at the front of the house and had an evaporative cooler in the window. Somehow that seemed like enough to keep the house reasonably comfortable. (Well, we did have oscillating fans here and there). I really don't know how the generation before us got by without a/c. I guess when you don't have a choice you just tolerate the heat and go on.

Place: Richardson Comments: While Rick was looking for some of our hard-to-find classmates, he found a death notice on Tina Lee Smotherman. It said she passed away on 12-14 86! This makes 18 of our classmates who have passed away since our 40th reunion! Only two of those 18 passed away earlier, but we found out about it at a much later date. You might want to rethink your decision if you decided NOT to attend the 45th. Could be your last chance to see an old friend . . .
Place: bigD Comments: Jack, I just ask at what age the senior discount begins and that is the age I am. LOL
Place: big D Comments: Sam, I can see why you're on the couch again, that Marks-A-Lot is hard to get off. |
