Well, I was sooo happy to see everyone at the reunion.
That wet kiss that JD gave me was appreciated, however my wife hasn't touched me since seeing that. I am anxious to see the pictures too. Did anyone get a picture of me with my eyes open ? all of the committee did a great job planning the big show.
The video, the Mystics, the food, the table decoration, the photographer, the popcorn, Don's Military slide show, the teachers in attendance, the special room rates, class mates coming from out of town, WHAT A SPECIAL TWO DAYS IT WAS.
Thank you SNL and your team.

First I talked about The Mystics, now let's talk about the RANGERS!  If you're not a baseball fan there's no way I could explain what happened last night!!

We're behind 3-2 from the 3rd up to the 7th innings.  Nellie Cruz hits a home run in the 7th. . .  we're tied 3-3.  It stayed that way until the 11th inning.  Bases loaded & Cruz hits a Walk-Off Grand Slam Home Run!!!!  OMG, it was the best game I've ever seen!!  Did I mention, the pitcher hit Nellie in the 9th inning. They shouldn't have made Nellie mad . . .  he came back with the Grand Slam!  This is such an exciting week... GO RANGERS!

Toni - the GB decided, all by itself, on Saturday afternoon to "center" itself.  I sent an inquiry Monday & w/i a few hrs they fixed it.  As of yesterday afternoon it has appeared the same ol' way.  Does anyone see the GB as still being "centered"?

So sorry to learn of Donna's passing.  Like Susan, I was thinking about her a few weeks ago and thinking it was about time for her to be checking in with the GB.  I think Karen Melton Davis  summed up best my thoughts.

Jack, is Glynda speaking to you yet?

SNL, looking forward to seeing all of the reunion pictures.

Hi Carol Carpenter....long time no hear from!!

Don't know about the rest of your computers but the Guestbook has been centered on my computer screen since SNL switched to whatever new "whatever" it is that she switched to....

I'm so excited this mrng & don't know whether to lead with the Rangers or The Mystics!  I'll start with The Mystics!  Most of you didn't know, but Sat night David Mitchell had a professional Videographer recording their entire performance.  He sent David a link where he posted it on YouTube.  If you'd like to relive the mystical performance, or you weren't able to go to the reunion,  click the link below. I got goose bumps all over again!  Look for the name "johnnycog" as that's the one he loaded. ENJOY!!

Shortcake, it was so wonderful seeing your smiling face at the 45th!  Hope you're feeling much better soon.  Please give my love to your sidekick the fabulous Toni R.

I fell so sad hearing about Donna.  She was indeed a very sweet person.  Losing dear friends makes us realize how good and important it is to come to the reunions.  I wish I could make it to every one.  SNL you are an angel to put us all together.  We are so indebted to you for your dedication.

Ok - so my dr. sent me to one of his associates today for a check-up. He seemed to be happy with my progress so far but said I have to continue with PT for another month. He said I was about half way there, which he thought sounded good but frustrated me. I am so ready to feel a lot better. Sandy ...you forgot to tell me I had to be patient .....so not one of my traits!
Anyway ...back at home now with it iced down...which he said my therapists should be doing.
SNL....I have not had any problems on my GB pages but I am on my iPad so do not know if that anything to do with it or not.

I was looking in my '66 Den last night and found that I was picturing the wrong Donna when Sandy posted the news of Donna Rexroat's passing.  I was thinking of Donna Hott, who hopefully is doing quite well.  I did remember Donna Rexroat when I saw her picture, however.  Best wishes go out to her family.

Good luck to the Rangers!

Yeah!!!  They repaired our GB.  Now back to normal, I was tired of being centered.

Very sorry to hear the news of Donna's passing.  Like Susan, I also wondered about her recently.  Prayers & sincere condolences to her family.

Any news of others who posted or came to minis previously, but we haven't heard from lately - Pat Williams (below b'day entry), Eileen Sandefer, Mike Dunn, others?

Carol - Very glad you checked in & we surely missed you at the 45th.  Sorry you've been under such a workload all this time.

JD - Good to see you looking very fit in your new slim look - you set the bar pretty high.  Glad you were able to take time away from your busy retirement ventures to join us - really enjoyed it.

James - I'm feeling fine, but my batteries wore down a bit.  Jack & JD were just getting too engrossed in serious discussion, instead of helping the rest of us unearth the dirt on all those other folks - some pretty close to home.

Richard - Way back before I suggested the idea of a surprise appearance by the Mystics to the committee, your name came up as a possible stand-in band member, in case some of the others couldn't make it.  But, since most of the original guys agreed to, it wasn't necessary, so we kept the secret local.

I was unable to count the many surprised faces when folks figured out what was happening Sat. night.  But, when the guys led-off with their #1 hit from '65, the crowd pretty much lost it.  It was absolutely terrific & I salute David, Glenn, Danny & Robert, plus Al Struble & guys from Chill Factor for all their efforts in making it a reality.  Prayers continue for Ron's recovery, as well - I'm sure he hated missing this one, but know he wanted to be there.

My thanks to all the vets who furnished military photos for the slide-show.  Still missing some, so consider this a reminder to send yours along to help complete the presentation.

Lastly, many thanks to our reunion committee - Sandy, Barbara, Don F. & Jack, plus Mike F., his wife & Kellie F. - for another great & memorable occasion!

P. S. - I fixed the g/b format also.

Cathy, those 7 Grandones are so cute!  I love how 5 are blondes & 2 are brunettes!  It was really great to see you at the reunion after such a long time.  Hope you can start coming to some of the minis.

I'm still waiting for a reply on what happened to the GB. At first I thouhgt it was just me, but then some of you also said something.  Hope they can fix it soon as it's weird looking.
